As a member of the Sales & Marketing Division, develops and implements strategies or best practices that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the Ritz Carlton guests and employees. The position is responsible for meeting planner and employee satisfaction; and the financial performance of the department.

Essential:

- High school and college graduate

- A minimum of two years of hotel experience

The Assistant Manager, Development (Campaigns) works closely with the fundraising team to implement comprehensive, public-facing fundraising campaigns for the Singapore Symphony Group (SSG). This includes project management of the year-end mass appeal, the annual fundraising dinner’s appeal, and other evolving campaigns to support SSG’s development strategies.

The Assistant Manager, Development (Campaigns) plays a key role in driving the success of mass fundraising efforts and has opportunities to use creativity in shaping SSG’s fundraising initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CAMPAIGN SPECIFIC

– Receive key campaign messaging from Managers.

• Manage full accounting operations to ensure smooth business operations.
• Manage financial planning, policies, processing, forecasting and budgets.
• Preparation and review of relevant MAS reports for licensed entities.
• Review, implementation and enhancement of internal controls and manage the in-house internal control system.
• Manage changes to accounting systems, reconciliation, and processes to ensure front to back processing is accurate and complete.
• Support various audits, inspections, and tax submissions as per regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines, preferably as a fully qualified Certified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 8 years & above of working experience with at least 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably at a financial institution or accounting & audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and procedures.
• Has good Financial Product knowledge
• Experience with full set entity accounting and preparation of financial statement, including consolidation.
• Experience with MAS reporting.
• Experience with full audit procedure.
• Experience with project management, system implementation (preferably Netsuite) and UAT process.
• Display sound knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and taxation rules.
• Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including team members and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure products continuously comply with Amazon’s quality, performance, reliability, as well as industry safety and regulatory requirements worldwide
• Applying SME level knowledge of quality strategies and processes by engagement with contract manufacturers and original design manufacturer
• Manage and coach strategic suppliers to improve quality management systems, manufacturing processes and customer satisfactio
• Drive scalable business solution and develop best-in-class processes and systems, and drive continual improvement across different business models
• Communicate technical, quality, and process requirements to non-technical stakeholders
• Design and operate scalable training programs via webinars or onsite for both internal and external stakeholder; improve self-service tools and systems to reduce manual operations
• Manage 3rd Party service providers to perform factory audits and processes inspections

Basic qualifications

• Knowledge of product/ manufacturing quality management as well as product development in diverse industries
• Bachelor’s degree required with a scientific or engineering focus
• Minimum 7 years of experience with import/export consumer product quality program management
• Working knowledge of lean six sigma and process improvement methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
• Must be able to think creatively and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are driven in parallel
• Able to travel (including international) often
