Procurement Manager is responsible in overseeing and managing sourcing capabilities and procurement operation. He/she is responsible for strategy and negotiating with vendors in terms of price, delivery and service while ensuring highest commitment to the company by satisfying the customer needs with quality work and efficiency by improving the processes, build effective team and manage ambiguity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Source and procure items required.
2. Work and coordinate closely with customers, vendors, PM, QS and other related functions in sourcing/procuring required items
3. Able to read simple technical drawings and explain to the team.
4. Do competitive Bidding when required for new purchases to ensure cost competitiveness without sacrificing quality
5. Maintain and monitor quotation status progress and ship the Sales orders according to the required dates
6. Arrange and coordinate closely the shipment request with the Logistic team/appointed forwarders
7. Build and establish rapport with Suppliers for service & quality improvement
8. Conduct supplier review, develop strategy for improvement, initiate business and organizational partnerships
9. Attend, liaise and close any quality related issues with the vendors and site.
10. Issue Non-conformance report (NCR) for quality related issues and ensure a necessary Corrective Action (CA) is provided for quality control.
11. Demonstrate leadership and provide training/coaching to Procurement executive to ensure individual's empowerment are achieved
12. Create standard work process related to job function to ensure sustainability and efficiency. Able to determine low hanging fruits improvement for immediate implementation.
13. Develop others through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments. Appoint and check buyer’s load efficiently.
14. Conduct Employee performance review and feedback
15. Other ad-hoc jobs related to sourcing & procurement.
16. Ensure KPI target is achieved.
17. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
18. Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.

QUALIFICATION GUIDE

1. Education : Minimum bachelor’s degree in supply chain or engineering related cours

Administrative Manager Responsibilities:

Administrative Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

The essential responsibilities of the Department Manager include:

• Achieves department sales targets, goals and objectives.
• Monitors sales figures, analyses and interprets data and trends and discusses this information with Branch Manager for forward planning.
• Conducts daily briefing and regular floor walks to make sure that brand image is maintained, ensuring expected service performance and customer experiences are managed and sustained; visual merchandising standards and good housekeeping standards are set and maintained at the highest level; maintains high quality in-store display with maximum cleanliness and upkeep of fixtures.
• Manages stock levels and control to ensure stock availability; minimising aged and damaged stock, and minimising stock loss.
• Work closely with buyers and merchandisers to ensure the department shines.
• Handles customer complaints and authorized to offer remedies on behalf of the department.
• Ensures that product knowledge is at its peak among salespeople; conducts shop-floor training to motivate and build the skills of the team.
• Deals with Human Resources matters such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews and counselling, as well as ensures staff are skilled by providing, recommending or organising training and development by liaising with HR and through own in store initiatives (e.g. short quizzes on product knowledge, on the job training).
• Ensures staff understands and adheres to security and operational procedures.
• Any other duties as per assigned.

Formal Education & Certification

• Preferably Diploma or Degree in Retail Management

Knowledge & Experience

• At least 2 years of retail management experience (departmental level)
• Strong commercial understanding
