As a Vice President in APAC HR Regulatory Affairs within our Human Resources team, you will be part of a team that oversees the HR aspects of regulatory compensation correspondence and initiatives in the APAC region with a focus on China due to recent and ongoing regulatory developments. You will serve as a key advisor to HR teams, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment while contributing to the success of our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain expertise in the HR regulatory landscape, focusing on regulatory compensation practices and trends.
• Advise country HR teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs) on HR regulatory compensation matters, offering regional insights while considering local and global approaches.
• Interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on HR policies and practices by conducting gap analyses and communicating obligations to key stakeholders.
• Drive and manage HR regulatory compensation projects by partnering with internal stakeholders and control partners from Legal, Compliance, and Audit.
• Oversee HR regulatory compensation submissions and correspondence with regulators, ensuring deliverables are drafted, reviewed, and approved.
• Collaborate with international teams to align practices and share best practices within APAC.
• Keep HR stakeholders informed of significant regulatory compensation developments from both international and local perspectives.
• Participate in and contribute to governance forums as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HR, Audit, Legal, Compliance, or Risk within large multinational companies.
• Proven ability to work in a large-scale, global, and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience working in a large-scale, global and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage HR projects and develop policies, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Accountability and professional judgment with a commitment to quality and timely deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot independently or escalate when necessary.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Certification from Singapore’s Institute of Human Resource Professionals.
• Experience with regulatory compensation matters is preferred.
This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 5 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.
