To support the fast-growing data analytics team within Consumer Division (CD), we are looking for a competent Data Analyst to join the team in providing digital user behaviour insights on our websites and apps, to drive new subscriptions and increase monthly active users.

This Data Analyst will be deriving insights and developing dashboards with internal and external data, including but not limited to marketing and engagement campaigns, conversion levers and checkout flows. This role is expected to be highly independent, support insights projects through the entire analytics lifecycle, and be the glue between business and data.

This role will be expected to go beyond being an “analyst”. This involves understanding how different systems work, read through systems documentation on data endpoints, work with Tech to plan user behaviour tracking requirements, handle UAT to test those tracking plans, write automated ETL scripts, understand marketers’ user requirements and build/maintain the dashboards required. Recording of checks to ensure accuracy of data/insights before presentation to stakeholders will be a basic expectancy for this role.

This role will partake in new ideas and face unknowns that come with changing business demands and technical industry trends. The Analyst must be willing to explore & tackle said unknowns, and be involved in cross functional projects to ensure data related to CD data objectives are well-governed.

Roles & Responsibilities

Data acquisition

• Support Division’s need for subscriptions and revenue related data dimensions and metrics.
• Work closely with other stakeholders from SPHTech source for new behavioural/ demographic data dimensions and metrics relevant for the Division’s growth.
• Liaise with data engineers from SPHTech to ensure healthy ETL of the Division’s behavioural metrics.

• Perform strategic and ad-hoc analysis in support of product team members such as: product managers and planners, engineers, UX, design and marketing team members including content strategists and marketing automation specialist

Requirements:

• 4+ years of data analysis experience, leveraging descriptive and predictive data techniques
• 4+ years of experience focused on feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion and retention, segmentation, and developing user archetypes and their usage patterns
• 4+ years of experience in analysing & making improvements in the data sets returned in google analytics
• 2+ years of experience supporting product teams
• 2+ years of experience uncovering data insights to form hypothesis, designing product experiments, evaluating results and making recommendations
• Experience working with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap or equivalent is paramount
• Intermediate Level SQL
• Advanced BI dashboard development using Tableau or Power BI
• Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates

Purpose:

• Provide support to FUJIFILM Asia Pacific (FFAP), FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific (FBAP) and all operating companies in the Asia Pacific region on applications relating to Business Intelligence (BI) for management & operational reporting and integration layer with source data systems.
• Participate in implementation/enhancement projects to plan, coordinate and liaise with users on system requirements gathering, solutioning, design & documentation.
• Primary focus will be on in-house developed applications, supporting in areas of business operational, KPI reporting & business analytics.

The key roles and responsibilities are as follows:

Key accountabilities:

• Design BI architecture in Azure cloud and migrate on-premise BI systems to Azure
• Lead in user requirements gathering and perform system impact analysis of changes required by business from technical perspective
• Drive user discussions and conduct workshops to facilitate information gathering
• Perform feasibility study to ascertain area of automation
• Propose and review solutions with respective stakeholders affected by the change
• Document user requirements into user specifications (functional & technical)
• Lead in system design and development of solutions according to the agreed user specifications
• Develop test plan & scripts
• Conduct testing on developed solutions to ensure compliance to user specifications and internal quality assurance requirements (e.g. system performance benchmarks)
• Lead in user training & user acceptance testing
• Ensure proper deployment of changes to production environment in accordance to internal procedures
• Collaborate and initiate change with business users to provide improvements to standardise system processes and propose business solutions meeting business needs/requirements. This involves good collaborative effort with staff members from cross functional areas (e.g. sections, departments and entities from the Asia Pacific region)
• Review all work deliverables from development resources assigned and provide guidance to development accordingly. Resources can be internal or extended vendor resources on technical delivery
• Provide periodic reports to reporting manager on work status/project progress
• Accountabilities are applicable to daily support, change order sustenance and project work
• Ensure full compliance to company policies, internal procedures, information security and JSOX audit requirements for all work performed

Daily Support:

• Dedicate about 30% of time in daily support activities
• Provide 24x7 systems support according to the business units’ SLA of Asia Pacific region on in-house developed business applications
• Handle issues resolution in accordance to SLA
• Report any system or operational deficiencies and recommend areas for improvements

System Sustenance Change Orders:

• Dedicate about 30% of time on change request fulfilment activities
• Manage full change order fulfilment for the designated systems (independently end to end from feasibility study to final delivery)
• Manage development resources allocated as per change order requirements (usually of medium complexity)

Projects:

• Dedicate about 40% of time in project work
• Contribute as a key project member/team lead/technical subject matter expert in new implementation / enhancement projects for small, medium to high complexity projects.
• Collaborate with other ICT team members, application SME’s and with other vendors as and when required by the project and ensure delivery of projects in accordance to project KPIs
• Project activities include but not limited to: requirements gathering, design, testing, training, documentation, deployment, coordination, quality assurance, etc.
• Review all project outputs in relation to IT system deliverables from project development resources

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• At least 7 years of Information Management experience in an MNC within the High Tech industry, with 5 years in IT lead role in project / support environment
• At least 5 years of implementation and support experience in Data warehousing and BI tools
• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or IT related fields
• Preferably certified in Data engineering and/or Data analysis
• Preferably Project Management certified (PMP) or Agile certified
• Excellent hands-on experience in Power BI, Cognos BI, Azure data lake, Azure Synapse, Azure/Oracle Datawarehouse and ETL tools
• Proficiency in Power BI and Cognos BI Administration, Security and Framework Manager Dimensional Modelling
• Experience in DAX, M query, SQL, stored procedures, database/data processing concepts, data modelling, reports and dashboards development
• Good knowledge and in-depth experience in designing data warehouse systems and data flow in source systems such as Oracle eBusiness Suite or Azure D365
• In-depth knowledge & experience to design and develop a flexible & scalable BI model that can cater for the business reporting needs
• Familiar with IT SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Familiar with business analytics & reporting in areas of Finance, Supply chain, Sales & distribution, Service CRM
