About the Role

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Active involvement in delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and BAU enhancements requested by the business.
• Lead discussions with the business on understanding the processes and document the rules and enhancements that are needed.
• Prepare and review that the business requirements are comprehensive and they meet the business needs taking into consideration future needs and changing business needs.
• Evaluate alternative high-level solutions with Information Technology and make appropriate recommendations to the users.
• Conduct/review user requirements and responsible for requirement sign off.
• Collaborate and prioritize the changes needed with other key stakeholders in the business requirements so that the agreed launch timeline will not be impacted.
• Contribute to the overall planning and resources required, effective monitoring of the project status and plans.
• Provide requirements to Solution Analyst and Support Specialist.
• Prepare/review training materials and updating SOP documents.
• Actively seek continuous improvements in her/his area of expertise so that she/he continues to be relevant to the business.
• Perform ad hoc duties which will involve the need to support processing of service requests.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Working experience in life insurance operations and with knowledge in both operation and system areas are preferred.
• Integral Life (Life 400/Asia AS400) background is preferred.
• Experience in handling projects and product features
• Ability to be pro-active and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment to make things happen, meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.

The Company:

Our client is a multi-national information technology company with its headquarters in Singapore. It is also the largest Systems Integrator domestically.

The Project:

This project consists of multiple teams deployed within Cybersecurity Operations Command Centre delivering mission critical 24x7 threat monitoring, prevention, analysis, intelligence to high-valued clients.

The Role :

1. Provide support for internet security surveillance activities.

2. Responsibility for managing and escalating security incidents, ensuring a prompt and effective response.

3. Assist in the thorough preparation of incident reports, contributing to comprehensive documentation of security events.

4. Assist in detecting and resolving issues arising from security incidents, and demonstrate a proactive approach to maintaining system integrity.

5. Provide first-level troubleshooting for serviced devices, and address and resolve security-related issues.

6. Work closely with engineers team to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Your expertise and insights will play a crucial role in finding effective solutions.

7. Stay informed about the latest security advancements by consistently reviewing security updates and ensuring that systems are up to date with the most current protective measures..

8. Provide support for the Level 1 (L1) team by assisting with resource management, helping to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.

9. Assist in the onboarding program for new security analysts, facilitate a smooth integration into the team and ensure familiarity with established protocols.

1. Minimum requirement is a Diploma with a module in IT or Cyber Security.

2. Having a security Analyst certification like Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Security Analyst (ECSA), or Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) is advantageous but not mandatory.

3. Preferably, candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Management of IDS/IPS and firewall systems.
• Experience in Vulnerability Assessment, penetration testing, and risk assessment using various scanning and penetration testing tools.
• Knowledge of Unix, WIN2K, NT, and web server security practices such as OS tightening, SSO, and virus scanning.

4. General understanding of Information Security concepts.

5. Adequate understanding of Layer 1-7 Networking concepts is required.

6. Ability to follow predefined procedures, policies, and processes, and work under pressure.

7. Good communication skills (verbal, reading, and writing).

8. Working hours are from 9.00 AM to 6.30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Management Reporting

• Monthly actual results reporting and analysis (Full set - P&L, BS, CF)
• Prepare mid-month forecast and quarterly reporting
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insight to the Management
• Timely submission of reporting package to HQ

Annual Plan and Budget

• Liaise with HODs to collate annual plan and quarterly budget
• Organise internal review with management team
• Prepare and submit the reporting package to HQ

KPI Reporting

• Consolidate monthly operating performance and conduct KPI review with the Management
• Presenting financial results to the Management

Revenue and Gross Margin Analysis

• Analyse sales mix by Customers, Product Grade and Selling Price
• Prepare Gross Margin analysis to highlight area for improvement
• Assist Management in Sales Mix optimisation to achieve overall improvement in profitability

Standard Costing implementation

• Assist in setting up Standard Costing framework
• Conduct analytical review and variance analysis
• Actual vs Standard Costing variance analysis

ERP System Implementation

• Lead Budget Planning and Control module implementation.
• Work with Consultants, Procurement and HODs to streamline the Budget Control process
• Participate and contribute in other ERP modules implementation

Miscellaneous

• Be part of the team to establish and improve Finance SOP
• Tracking of investment and business spending for government incentives update
• Any other tasks as assigned by the Finance Director/ Finance Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA
• 5-8 years of relevant working experience in FP&A and group accounting roles
• Energetic and meticulous
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Experience in ERP systems and implementation
