Responsibilities:

• Offer support in managing, maintaining, and testing IT application systems, ensuring their efficient operation and functionality;

The Analyst will work closely with the senior management team and provide up-to-date and accurate financial reporting to support business decision-making. The Analyst will also participate in strategy and operations projects to drive value creation in the portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

· Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide full range of finance analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, cash flow planning, and other ad hoc requests

· Financial Reporting: Consolidate and prepare financial statements including sales reports, balance sheets, P&L, and cash flows from portfolio companies and for the entire group

· Management Reporting: Lead the preparation of Management, Board of Directors, and Investor presentation slides/reporting pack

· Budgeting and Planning: Drive the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting process

· Financial Modelling: Prepare ad-hoc financial models, analysis, and projections (e.g., 3 statements, scenario analysis, performance and return metrics, etc.)

· Ad Hoc Projects: Support strategy & operations projects and M&A deals as needed

The ideal candidate:

· Degree in Accounting or Finance

· 2 – 3 years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A, preferably with experience in a Big 4 environment.

What’s the job?

The Revenue Analyst maximize all revenues to and for the Hotel, including but not limited to Room and Banquet/Catering Revenues. Support cross functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including Sales & Marketing, Rooms, and Food & Beverage.

Your day-to-day

• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of hotel systems – IHG Concerto and Holidex in particular, to ensure appropriate capture of data for client information, events, forecasts and results.
• Manage all channels (CRO, GDS, OTAs, Internet direct and indirect) including but not limited to room types and sell strategy. Uphold and enforce compliance with the Lowest Internet Rate Guarantee and managing third party distributors in compliance with IHG standards and rules.
• Manage use of revenue systems daily. This includes the responsibility for any manipulation of the yield hurdle points and daily inventory balancing where appropriate.
• Support tracking and analysis of booking pace, group wash, cut off.
• Understand the composition of hotel profitability and use this to support General Manager in evaluating business from local accounts and groups to provide input to future rate setting and negotiation.
• Maintain and analyse both overall, by account (and for bookers), system contribution and trends in rooms and non-rooms revenues by channel, segment and account.
• Monitor competitor pricing for Rooms Revenue, understand the dynamic of the local market and the demand generators.
• Participate in weekly rate/sell strategy (yield) meetings with General Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Sales and Rooms Division Manager.
• Support Revenue Room Meeting and generate reports and analysis needed for the meetings. Prepare forecasts of revenue, profit, demand and occupancy for rooms and function space – short term, long range and budget.
• Support in monitoring and factoring non-room revenues (i.e. Events, F&B) into the overall revenue management strategies and practices.
• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.
