Role Purpose
Sr. System Analyst is responsible for managing a community of users in the space of analytics and business intelligence; facilitating activities – pilots/trainings to build up competencies and community of practices within the community, leaders, and users. Design solutions to address visualization challenges faced by the community.
Role & Responsibilities
Data Analytics and Visualisation Consultant
- Developing expertise in the features, benefits, and application of Tableau’s and Power BI’s products.
- Deep understanding of Desktop/ Online applications/product(s) and their integration into stakeholder solutions and resolving their needs.
- Handle and manage all technical clarifications from various stakeholders for their issues and challenges faced.
- Conduct and facilitate discovery exercises, analysis and review workshops, proof of concepts, and product demonstration to various stakeholders.
- Develop detailed assessments and recommendations for the project (i.e. building/ migrating dashboards) implementations.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau or Power BI and demonstrate the use of the advanced features of either tool (integration of Python etc).
- Work with the team to develop use cases and dashboards that are beneficial for the community.
Community Engagement
- Manage a series of activities to build up a community and maintain close relationships with leaders and users within the community.
- Work with the Product Manager to strategize and charter out a series of Community of Practice (COP) activities to different functions to build “one” community of both tools – Tableau & Power BI.
- Assist the Product Manager to engage the community as part of a product lifecycle to upskill and educate users.
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs. Monitor and analyze the performance of the metrics to offer suggestions for improvement.
- Design and develop a curriculum to suit different audiences within the community.
- Conduct and facilitate virtual or on-site training to guide users in Tableau/ Power BI/ Data Science/ Data Catalog and end-to-end of a data analytics lifecycle.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Good to have certifications in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Power BI Advance Data Analyst (DAX, Power Query).
- Preferably 7 years of multi-disciplined experience including:
(i) Business intelligence\ data mining, statistical\ML data modeling
(ii) Community engagement
(iii) Experience in a multi-national enterprise, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
(iv) Experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
(v) Knowledge of Python, SQL, Tableau, DAX, Power Query, Power BI, Snowflake
(vi) Knowledge in customer relationships and sales, freight forwarding/express/e-com/logistics operations, pricing, customer service, aviation operations, finance, and billing.
- Good business acumen to assimilate information quickly and communicate effectively.

- Able to synthesize complex or diverse information, design data flows; challenge and re-validate conclusions.
- Able to apply design principles and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional and-geographical teams
