You will be responsible for implementing an appropriate framework and best practices and manage the design delivery process and essay a bridging role between the design and the delivery for Hospitality interior design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Understands and adheres to the Project Plan including project design and Financial goals.
• Drive the project design forward with the Design Lead from kick-off to completion.
• Support the Design Lead as required during Concept and Schematic phases and in preparation of presentations
• Fully involved in the project design development - work closely with the design teams from Design Development stage all the way to practical completion, ensure design information is of the right quality; oversee the drafting of detailed workings, drawings and specifications; prepare tender applications and make related presentations; Study construction documents and analyze and approve changes to construction design documents.
• Manage the quality of deliverables and ensure that Design documentation keeps pace with project timescales and projects come within budget and deadlines; keep consult with executives and make recommendations for resource allocation.
• Coordinate and foster teamwork between all project stakeholders – the design internally the Consultants externally

Support team through full project lifecycle from planning to construction.

Qualifications

• Hospitality Design related background in both Education and working experience
• Experience in Project design development
• Proficiency in Design program such AutoCad, Photoshop, SketchUp
• Good at presentation skill and client management

As our Director of Interior Design, you will be responsible for the overall vision and strategy of that practice, as well as overall quality and performance. You will drive the combination of design and client strategy that leads to unique solutions with significate market impact, developing and implementing relationship strategies with clients, hotel brands, and others that reinforce our position as a preeminent luxury hospitality design firm.

You will serve as a primary liaison to clients, representing BLINK’s design and professional performance, and you will be a public face of BLINK, actively involved in marketing and business development in a seller-doer role, responsible for new and repeat business, with a target of S$5+ million per fiscal year.

BLINK is organized around a highly collaborative studio model. You will work in partnership with the Studio Management Leader to ensure the highest level of operational performance for design and execution of the portfolio of work assigned to your studio. Both of you will work directly with the Co-CEOs, who are responsible for the creative and management success of BLINK.

You will also work closely with studio leaders responsible for our building design and interior design services, including project leaders, design leaders, and project teams across the various studios, as well as our business partners in administration, digital design, finance, HR / Talent, IT / enterprise apps, legal, and marketing. As our new Senior FF&E Designer, you will work on luxury hospitality projects, both urban & resort hotels. Working as part of a collaborative design team, you will interpret client briefs and collaborate with the Interior Design team in creating concepts, putting together sample boards and presentations for clients. You will be responsible for sourcing suitable materials and fabrics for interior finishes, artwork, furniture and lighting

Your Responsibilities:

The Senior FF&E Designer shall perform tasks that may include but not limited to:

• Prepare, schedule, and select FF&E and Artwork items for the project working with the Design Leads and Senior Interior Designers through every stage of the design process.

• Develop and prepare all material finishes, ironmongery and sanitary ware specifications in partnership with the Project Designer.

• Prepare and coordinate all FF&E documentation required for Tender issues. Create and maintain FF&E budget estimate versus actual (as needed).

• Review samples, strike-offs, shop drawings and materials etc. for compliance with specifications and design intent.

• Participate in project meetings and Client presentations as needed. Attend Client work- sessions and design reviews as required.

• Travel internationally for assigned project presentations, coordination meetings and site visits as required.
