As a Senior Design Manager on the Fulfilment team, you will report to the Head of Design and manage designers and UX writers who work collaboratively across multiple problem spaces. Your team will explore user and our needs to create impactful solutions that support our mission.

This role is based in Singapore and is a hybrid role.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will guide design outcomes, contribute to product strategy, and enhance design quality across teams.
• You will manage Product Designers, UX Writers, and UX Researchers working across several problem spaces.
• You will coach and mentor designers in solving complex and novel problems in simple and impactful ways.
• You will ensure design quality and superior user experience.
• You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, Research, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver impact.
• You will promote complex thinking in a clear, convincing, and concise manner.
• You will develop and implement effective design processes.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 7+ years of Product Design experience..
• Extensive experience working on cross-functional product teams.
• Exceptional fundamentals in interaction and visual design craft and practice.
• Experience coaching and mentoring others in Product Design.
• Excellent knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
• Experience with Figma, Protopie, After Effects or other design tooling.
• Proficiency in Service Design, User Research, Front-end Development, Project Management, Accessible Design or Design Systems.
• Provide a portfolio of your recent design work in English, showcasing your contribution and the impact of your projects. We recommend you provide clear context, outline your end-to-end workflow, and demonstrate how you go from problem discovery to launch.

You will report to the Head of Design. This is a hybrid role and its based in Singapore.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Define design outcomes, product quality and co-own product strategy.
• Lead design - managing Design Managers and overseeing multiple design teams, ensuring they operate cohesively and deliver high-quality work.
• Mentor and develop Design Managers, helping them advance in their careers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and scale the overall strategic direction and growth of the organization.
• Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the design team.
• Propose, shape and drive initiatives that further the design organisation and its vision.
• Evangelise for and safeguard quality across the organisation - advocating for and establishing new standards of quality.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 7+ years experience managing high performing design teams.
• An online portfolio or case studies demonstrating user-centred design and leadership.
• Exceptional understanding of user experience design for the web and mobile.
• Extensive leadership experience on cross-functional product teams.
• Experience managing User Research, Service Design, UX Writing or Design Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and lead the design of luxury events and exhibitions
• Oversee the creation of 3D renderings, technical drawings and layouts
• Mentor and manage a team of designers to deliver exceptional work
• Manage vendors and contractors for seamless execution
• Conduct site visits to optimise spatial layout and attendee experiences
• Work closely with production team to align the design with client needs and ensure budget compliance
• Other relevant ad-hoc duties

Key Requirements:

• Min Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Min 7 years of experience in luxury, lifestyle and fashion event design
• Proficiency in design software (3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud, SketchUp, AutoCAD)
