Work you’ll do

This position aims to provide Management Support to Japanese companies operating in the Southeast Asia Region in the Strategy & Business Design unit. Managers typically have day-to-day responsibility for delivering engagements or major modules of large projects. This includes leading the approach, liaising with clients and other parties and directing the thinking of individuals within the team. For instance, on a growth strategy project for a leading universal bank, one module may be focused on conducting expert interviews and secondary research to understand key market trends, another on gaining a better understanding of unmet consumer needs, and a third on developing financial forecasts of the future performance of existing lines of business. The number of modules varies from case to case and depends on the size of the team and the scope of the project. An important part of the role will include involvement in business development and marketing activities to initiate and maintain contact with target companies.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education qualification in Business or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience working in the above areas at a Consulting or Technology firm.
• Native or Advanced Business level of Japanese communication is required as the role will require liaising with Japanese clients.
• A strong and demonstrated experience in Strategy.
• Background or industry experience in marketing, quantitative analysis and financial analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge in business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques is required.
• Familiarity with JIRA / SQL and Tableau is preferred.
• Strong understanding and working experience in data science and analytics field.

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer Registered with the PE Board.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• We would like to get on board a Telecommunication engineer (or similar) to work inside of the

railway communication infrastructure area, to develop and deploy communication transport

solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects. Main tasks to be performed by

the COMMS engineer:

o Analysis of project requirements and propose the solutions accordingly.

o Development of system technical specifications.

o Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties' systems.

o Technical interface with customers and other contractors.

o Realization of testing and commissioning works onsite.

o Network troubleshooting for wired and wireless systems both.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Minimum 2 years experience working on various communication systems technologies such as

fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance,

• Experience in implementing railway-related projects for LTA will be an added advantage.
