Job Description

Art:

Main duty:

1. To assist the art dept with acquisition of materials (receiving, DO processing of purchases, sorting and keeping purchases) as well as do paperwork for condemnation of obsolete or damaged items, carry out disposal

2.To manage maintenance and upkeep of Art rooms and resources in the Art Block (6 Art rooms and Kiln room, Woodwork room, darkroom and other related areas, including art materials and assets. E.g, Drill press, Bend Saw, 3D printers)

3.To supervise students at work when no teaching staff is around, invigilate tests and internal exams when called upon for assistance.

4. To provide support in managing the attendance of Sec 1-4 AEP Centre students and communicate with sending schools and parents on results and other admin matters

5. To oversee security of the art rooms by monitoring CCTV data, locking up rooms at 6pm.

6. To provide support and logistical assistance for department and students’ participation (Eg SYF Art Festival) and organisation of art exhibitions (Eg in 2025, Art Festival)

7. To assist in photo-documentation of students at work for purposes of T&L review

8. To oversee any repairs or renovation works being carried out (Eg Renovation of art gallery)

Music:

Main duty:

1. To assist the music dept with acquisition of materials and resources/instruments, repair of instruments as well as all related admin related to procurement of goods or services (receiving, DO processing of purchases, sorting and keeping purchases)

2. To assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the 5 music-learning rooms, including management of the library, cataloguing and stock taking

3. To supervise students at work on occasions when teaching staff is not around.

4. To oversee security of the art rooms by monitoring CCTV data, locking up rooms by 6pm during term time.

5. To assist in setting up for lessons in terms of instruments / computer / electronic set up

6. To assist in setting up of video cameras for practical examinations

Job Requirement

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

a. Good communication and interpersonal skills

b. Good team player with a high level of initiative and independence.

c. Proficient in MS Office and Excel

d. Candidate with prior working experience in schools (at least in the last 2 consecutive years), directly with students. The Personnel should preferably have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

As a Virtual Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and managing the Brain Bar—a centralized control hub for real-time virtual production processes. This role involves overseeing the technical execution of virtual production elements during shoots, ensuring smooth operation of systems such as real-time rendering engines, motion capture, and virtual cameras. The VPO plays a critical role in supporting the creative vision by enabling seamless interaction between live-action and virtual environments. You will also be assigned to other exciting projects or tasks where relevant.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Operation & Management

• Operate and maintain the Brain Bar during virtual production shoots, managing real-time rendering, virtual cameras, and motion capture systems and ensuring seamless integration with the LED Volume.
• Ensure all virtual production systems are functioning correctly and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
• Monitor and adjust real-time visual outputs to ensure consistency with the director’s vision.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the Virtual Production Supervisor, VFX teams, and other key stakeholders to understand and execute the creative and technical requirements of the project.
• Provide real-time feedback to the production team on the status of virtual assets, environments, and characters during shoots.
• Communicate any technical challenges or limitations to the relevant departments and collaborate on finding solutions.

System Calibration & Optimization

• Regularly calibrate and optimize virtual production systems, ensuring they are performing at peak efficiency.
• Manage the integration of various virtual production tools, such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or other real-time rendering platforms.
• Implement updates and improvements to the Brain Bar systems as needed to support the evolving needs of the production.

Pre-Shoot Preparation

• Assist in the setup and testing of virtual production equipment before shoots, including virtual cameras, motion capture systems, and other real-time tools.
• Conduct system checks and dry runs to ensure that all Brain Bar operations are ready for live production.

On-Set Support

• Provide on-set support during filming, managing the Brain Bar operations to ensure seamless integration of virtual elements.
• Work with the live-action crew to align virtual production elements with the physical set and camera movements.
• Quickly adapt to changes and challenges on set, making real-time adjustments to ensure production continuity.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in virtual production, real-time rendering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience operating real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and virtual production tools.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting virtual production systems, including motion capture and virtual camera rigs.
• Strong understanding of real-time rendering workflows and virtual production pipelines.
• Familiarity with networking, hardware, and software setups commonly used in virtual production.
• Good knowledge of LED Volume operations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.

2. Metalworking:Melt and alloy gold and other metals to achieve the desired color, strength, and consistency for specific pieces.
   Shape and mold the metal using various techniques such as casting, forging, and soldering.
   
3. Casting and Shaping:Pour molten gold into molds to create base shapes for jewelry, and refine or finish pieces through techniques like hammering, rolling, or polishing.
   Use tools such as files, pliers, and hammers to shape metal and add intricate details to the designs.
   
4. Stone Setting:Set precious or semi-precious stones (diamonds, sapphires, etc.) into the metal using various setting techniques such as prong, bezel, or pave settings.
