Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-precision semiconductor equipment to meet the processing and automation needs of customers
• Understand the design specification given to you by the design lead, company’s design standards and best practices.
• Understand the constraints within which your design must work.
• Understand geometric tolerances and dimensional analyses.
• Choose components based on an understanding of function, reliability, and costs.
• Choose materials based on an understanding of materials science and engineering.
• Understand design for manufacturability/assembly.
• Work with the Electrical Engineer to choose drives and electrical components (if any).
• Discuss with the Software Engineer on any interlocking logic requirements.
• Lay the design concept down in the 3D CAD.
• Perform DFMEA during the design process.
• Submit the CAD module to the system integrator to check for interface issues.
• Review the design with the design lead.
• Put the part designs down on drawings, carefully specifying tolerances and specifications.
• Build the module BOM.
• Procure the module components.
• Review the assembly of the physical module.
• Perform design improvements where appropriate.

Additional Information:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy from a recognized institute and/or min 5 years of working experience in the relevant accounting environment
• At least 5 years’ experience in a financial related position, such as financial analyst or accountant
• Proficient in using ERP system (Microsoft Navision) will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with cross-functional team

• Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Marine & Offshore)

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform and represent as a Lead Engineer for Engineering Mechanical for projects like major repair / upgrading / conversion projects or new build projects.
• Responsible for optimized Mechanical engineering man hour utilization within the project.
• Coordinate between the other trades & internal for engineering integration.
• Coordinate with Project Lead on Project Engineering & procurement schedule.
• Perform as a Mechanical Senior Engineer to generate and complete the assigned tasks for projects within the allocated timeline and high degree of accuracy.
• Prepare & review equipment technical specification / drawings to ensure completeness & correctness with company requirements.
• Prepare & review equipment parameter & mandatory calculation.
• Prepare & review piping schematics (P&ID).

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in machinery, piping & new-building engineering design in the marine & offshore industry.
• Familiar with Auto-CAD / Microsoft Office / AVEVA
• Familiar with Rules and Regulations from Classification Society and Authorities.
• Familiar with theory and calculation of marine / offshore mechanical & piping design.
