This research project aims to grasp dynamic changes in hotel capital investments and their influences on tourism-related local businesses before, during, and after the pandemic on two geographic scales -- region (Asia-Pacific) and city (Singapore). You will report to the Head of Design. This is a hybrid role and its based in Singapore.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Define design outcomes, product quality and co-own product strategy.
• Lead design - managing Design Managers and overseeing multiple design teams, ensuring they operate cohesively and deliver high-quality work.
• Mentor and develop Design Managers, helping them advance in their careers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and scale the overall strategic direction and growth of the organization.
• Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the design team.
• Propose, shape and drive initiatives that further the design organisation and its vision.
• Evangelise for and safeguard quality across the organisation - advocating for and establishing new standards of quality.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 7+ years experience managing high performing design teams.
• An online portfolio or case studies demonstrating user-centred design and leadership.
• Exceptional understanding of user experience design for the web and mobile.
• Extensive leadership experience on cross-functional product teams.
• Experience managing User Research, Service Design, UX Writing or Design Operations.
