This internship will be for a minimum period of at least three months, from May to August (dependent on academic year).

This multi-disciplinary programme gives interns opportunities to develop their skills across a broad range of activities and gain valuable insights into an industry-level fashion association and its local and global initiatives, programmes, and resources. As part of the programme, interns will work in a specific department (estimate 75-80% of their time) and the opportunity to work with mentors of all SFC’s functional departments, from Industry Development, Sustainability, Events, Marketing, and Design Orchard (DORS).

Interns who successfully complete the programme will have experience with SFC on their CV, and a recommendation letter from the association. General Responsibilities

• Assist and support with programmes, initiatives and relevant events at SFC

Departmental Responsibilities

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be an integral part of our design team, working closely with SFC’s marketing and events team. You will gain hands-on experience in the world of graphic design, allowing you to develop and enhance your skills while contributing to exciting projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the design team to create and execute visually stunning designs for various projects, including but not limited to marketing materials, web graphics, social media content, and branding assets.
• Assisting in the creation of compelling visual content that aligns with SFC’s branding guidelines and marketing strategies.
• Contributing to brainstorming and concept development for design projects.

Requirements

A. Educational Qualifications

Job Description

• Gather inputs on design requests from Engineering Managers.
• Discuss design schemes, seek clarifications and provide information about engineering design aspects.
• Prepare drawings / sketches with CAD team and resolve queries.
• Approve final drawings, prepare design calculations and present to Engineering Manager.
• Review, interpret and report results of all geotechnical instrumentation in accordance with the Instrumentation & Monitoring Generalised Plan of Action.
• Guide engineers to execute design requests from Engineering Managers.
