Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Design Manager with minimum of 8 years of experience. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing design teams on projects for large scale of Design in international background. The Design Manager must be well-versed with project requirements and standards.
Responsibilities:
Ensure designs meet project specifications, client expectations and company standards within a timeline.
Oversee the entire design process, from concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update the team (and clients if necessary) on project progress and address any concerns.
Ensure client requirements are accurately captured and reflected in the design.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of design.
Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct regular design audits and peer reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or architecture. Proven experience in managing design teams on complex projects.
Experience in the design of residential and mixed use developments is preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
