Job Description:
- Assist the architect in coordinating design details between clients and consultants.
- Manage all architectural drawings and tasks, ensuring timely submission and updates of shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials. Oversee work progress to minimize conflicts, disputes, and rework.
- Review project specifications, clarify tenders, and assess construction drawings for contract and procurement management.
- Ensure adherence to architectural specifications and maintain quality standards in line with regulatory requirements.
- Take responsibility for achieving project objectives within the scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Prepare method statements and technical proposals to ensure smooth transitions during the project.
- Coordinate architectural tasks, prepare estimates, interpret plans, and conduct site inspections.
- Ensure consistency across architectural and consultant drawings throughout the project.
- Resolve architectural issues on-site (e.g., discrepancies in drawings, method statements, or correspondence) and implement appropriate solutions to ensure quality and productivity using BIM software or equivalent tools.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for project execution when needed.
- Organize and attend joint site inspections with various contractors as necessary.
- Review and report on the progress of architectural work.
- Work closely with the civil construction team and monitor construction activities.
- Ensure the incorporation of architectural requirements in site construction.
- Assist with construction administration tasks, including attending site visits as required.
- Compile and submit architectural documentation, including as-built drawings.
- Ensure project compliance with regulations and revise designs as needed to meet client expectations.
- Adhere to safety and health standards, aiming for zero workplace accidents.
- Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping throughout the project.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Architecture and registered as an architect, with at least 6 years of local experience, OR
- A diploma in Architecture with at least 8 years of local experience.
- Strong proficiency in project management and architectural practices.
- Expertise in trade coordination using Revit/Bentley or similar platforms.
- Attention to detail in reviewing architectural shop drawings.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- At least 2 completed CONQUAS building projects.
- Preferably experienced in Design & Build projects.
