Requirements

In this role, you will support the financial consolidation, reporting, and business partnerships within the International music business for Asia.

You will provide insightful financial analysis, streamline reporting processes, and ensure accuracy in regional financial statements, all of which will enable strategic decision-making across the business.

What you'll do:

• Month-end actual / forecast consolidation for Asia affiliates.
• Responsible for financial reporting and planning, including month-end close, quarterly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Assist in finance modelling review and preparation (artist/label signing, acquisition, licensing, office lease etc.)
• Assist the VP of Finance in preparing business reviews, presentations, and coordinating with GMs and Finance Directors.
• Business Partner to VP of Southeast Asia International business and marketing team to analyze the financial impact of strategic initiatives and provide analytical insights on variances and trends for Revenue, Marketing spend, Artists profitability, and EBIT.
• Liaise with Asia local finance teams regarding the inquiries or reporting requests from Regional office, Sony/SME Group or external parties.
• SAP data master maintenance for Asia.

Who you are:

• Bachelor degree in commerce/finance/business/economics majoring in accounting from a recognized Institution.
• CA/CPA qualified or studying towards.
• Minimum 5 years work experience.
• SAP and Business Warehouse experience is a must.
• Advanced computer software skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Experience in multinational companies with strict month-end reporting deadlines.
• A team player with a strong business partnering mindset.
• Ability to work independently, but also fully communicate with the supervisor, and other internal/external stakeholders.

Supervise ongoing projects and assist in design office i.e. resolve all technical issue

· Assist in all AC jobs/projects/contract

· Review all the design/checking of calculations for the company

· Represent the company, advise the same and act on its behalf to enable the company to perform its contractual obligations for the projects, as spelt out in the contract documents

· Act on behalf of the company to maintain reputation and goodwill with the clients

· Assist the Managing Director in subsequent tendering of projects and other contracts including but not limited to government projects, private projects, overseas projects

· Attend all site meetings with clients, contractors, QP Design and relevant authorities on matters related to the projects

· Attend meetings with Managing Director on regular basis with the view to report on matters related to the projects and assist in the resolution of issues which may affect the performance of the company in discharging its contractual obligations to the clients

· Promote the employer’s profile and capabilities in the procurement of projects and business development

· Be a management representative of the company for both site and office projects

· Review the design/checking of calculations

· Carry out planning, design drafting, cost estimate etc for the company’s project

· Prepare proposal and performance on tendering works for Consultancy

· Oversee authority’s submission and update of each project

· To cover duties for other Senior/ Design engineers

· Assist in technical design and drafting

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Criteria:

• Design Engineer (SDE) shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with at least a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience on Civil & Structural projects
• Able to problem solve and manage projects
