• Develop and create 2D and 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, ensure that piping designs are optimized for efficiency, ease of maintenance, and compliance with project and industry standards

Worked on high-speed serial and parallel interface design, defining specifications and implementing modules such as bandgap, bias circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators, switched capacitor circuits, ADCs, DACs, oscillators, filters, Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits such as de emphasis, CTLE, DFE, CDR architecture and implementation, high-speed digital circuits (serializers, deserializers, counters, dividers, etc.)

4. Work with the verification team for lab debugging

5. Work with the software team and/or customers to solve problems, debug and tune system performance

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in communications, electronic engineering or computer engineering, master’s degree preferred

2. More than 4 years (senior engineer) and 6 years (staff engineer) of ASIC design experience, familiar with ASIC development process

3. Good AMS circuit design skills and EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre, Hspice/Spectre, and static timing analysis tools (e.g., Nanotime)

4. Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as DDR, SerDes, PCIe is preferred

5. Ability to solve customer problems and deliver results in a timely manner

6. Strong organizational and communication skills where English is a must and Chinese is preferred

(A) Essential Job Functions:

The Design Engineer (C&S) is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Coordination of civil/structural works for construction.
• To attend meetings with client, subcontractors and consultants, etc.
• Attend to site issues, ensuring timely response of RFI, coordinate CO substantiations, material costing and estimation.
• Liaise closely with internal and external parties as well as the authorities to resolve structural design discrepancies and construction issues.
• Coordinate with consultants an liaise with authorities for updates and submissions of project design.
• Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issues.
• Liaise and coordinate with other stakeholders and consultants on the design and technical issues relating to temporary works.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

(B) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Minimum Degree holder in Civil/Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in the Construction industry.

• Working knowledge of general construction knowledge, especially in Civil Projects.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a technical expertise in assessing sites, conducting detailed drawings, and estimating Solar project capacity and costs.
• Formulate comprehensive design specifications and functional requirements for the region, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Complete system designs for projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of balance of system location and interconnection details.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of factors influencing system performance.
• Partner with the O&M Team to evaluate system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform software simulations of solar photovoltaic (PV) system performance & energy production
• Execute design calculations, encompassing voltage drop analysis, fault current assessments, and system optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract specifications and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and optimizing project outcomes including on-site engineering support.
• Collaborate closely with contractors to review and approve engineering drawing submissions, maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Solar PV system design / engineering.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s/Ph.D.) are a plus.
• Experience:
  Minimum X years in physical design with a focus on high-performance, low-power designs. Must have tape-out experience and familiarity with advanced semiconductor technologies (12nm and below).
• Technical Expertise:
  Proficient in full-chip floor planning, place-and-route, and physical verification (DRC and LVS). Strong knowledge of power network design, IR drop analysis, and timing closure with static timing analysis (STA) tools like PrimeTime.
• Software Knowledge:
  Experience with tools such as Synopsys IC Compiler, Cadence Innovus, and scripting languages like Perl, TCL, and Python.
• Place-and-Route Experience:
  Hands-on expertise in place-and-route methodologies for optimizing performance, power, and area.
• Soft Skills:
  Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address design challenges.
