Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Required:
  • A Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • Strong background in electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, and material sciences.
  • Solid experience in computational physics, with proficiency in numerical simulation techniques such as finite-difference-time-domain (FDTD), finite-element method (FEM), particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations, and magnetohydrodynamics (MHD).
  • Ability to develop and modify simulation codes to model complex, multi-physics systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive and solve equations analytically or numerically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write high-quality research papers and present complex ideas clearly.

Preferred:

• A strong publication record in top-tier journals in related fields.
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, Lumerical, CST, or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques for inverse design and optimization in nanophotonics is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in solving complex theoretical and computational problems.

• Ph.D. holders with a relevant background in theoretical/computational physics, engineering, or applied mathematics are encouraged to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for all cost and contractual issues on Main contract as well as Sub-contracts connected to the project.

A summary of the responsibilities for this position is, and not limited to, as follows:

• Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors
• Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
• Responsible in Pre & Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts.
• Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
• Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment
• Be familiar with various stages of projects so as to source for the most viable yet reasonable priced materials.
• Able to share new perspectives on cost, orders and claims.
• With the understanding of the contractual legal rights, he/ she will be involved in advising the management on their position of the contract from the tender stage

Skills and Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years working experience in SINGAPORE tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on buildings projects worth at least $100 million.
• Good analytical skills
• Candidates with knowledge in Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract, REDAS, FIDIC, FIDIC Short Form of Contracts will be an added advantage

As a Concept Art Lead in the Singapore Studio, you will channel your knowledge of concepting, modeling, and texturing to help tell stories through visually compelling characters, creatures, props and illustrations.

You’ll expand and support a high-performing external team and give them the guidance and context they need to deliver amazing concepts that set industry standards on craft, meet all technical requirements, and match the League of Legends art style.

Through a mix of craft training and hands-on leadership, you will level up the team’s craft, mediate and resolve craft disagreements and misalignment, and keep the team motivated towards creating excellent experiences for our players. Using your broad knowledge of art, craft, and technique, you’ll set clear goals for your team and make sure the process of delivering those goals is as smooth as possible for your team and their stakeholders.

You will partner closely with the product teams and other artists, ensuring that art quality is excellent and is able to effectively promote and align with larger products. You will maintain your craft skills, inspire creativity and keep a high-quality bar with hands-on work as you deem necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience working directly with an outsource vendor either as an Art Outsource Manager or as a Concept Art Lead
• 5+ years experience in the video games industry
• 2+ years experience of management experience
• Extreme proficiency in art fundamentals such as anatomy, composition, design, and color theory
• A clear understanding of the League of Legends art style
• Proven experience leading/mentoring teams and individuals. Growth minded and motivated toward teaching, enabling, and coaching other artists
• Experience giving thorough direction and delivering timely, clear, actionable feedback
• Strong background in concept art and a good understanding of technical limitations for 3D assets.
