• Candidates from engineering consulting background would be preferred
• Programming skills to support research works
• Led a team of junior engineers before
• Experience in control theory and mathematical optimization is a plus

Job responsibilities should cover the following but not limited to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using OutSystems or Mendix platforms.
• Customize and extend platform capabilities through the use of plugins, widgets, and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and provide technical support as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in low-code development platforms.
• Some certification from OutSystems or any other low code platforms are preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the assigned team and develop, coordinate and implement creative design for projects from concept design to construction.

- To conceptualize and produce creative and functional layout and design required or as indicated in design brief by manual sketching and using different computer software.

- To complete required and necessary documentation for different design stages using CAD and Revit software in accordance to company procedure and standards.

- To liaise with consultants, manufacturers and suppliers involved in the project.

- Willing to travel overseas as and when required.

- Performs other related duties as assigned which includes ad hoc assignments delegated by the director or immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

- Degree in Architecture with minimum 5 recent years of related work experience in the hospitality industry preferably in high-end and luxury developments as architect/ interior architect.

- Good working knowledge of Revit as all projects are designed and documented in Revit.

Minimum 5 years using Revit software.

- Knowledgeable and experienced in coordination and documentation of architectural, hardscapes and interior works and design.

- Proficient computer skills expected in this creative environment – Microsoft office, REVIT, CAD, photoshop, sketch-up, 3D max a plus but not required, etc.

- Good understanding of design and have detailing knowledge.

- Good knowledge of furniture and carpentry works is a plus but not required.

- Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.

- Keen to details with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Good understanding of international building codes and inspection regulations.

- Able to meet tight deadlines and handle work stress well.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a technical expertise in assessing sites, conducting detailed drawings, and estimating Solar project capacity and costs.
• Formulate comprehensive design specifications and functional requirements for the region, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Complete system designs for projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of balance of system location and interconnection details.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of factors influencing system performance.
• Partner with the O&M Team to evaluate system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform software simulations of solar photovoltaic (PV) system performance & energy production
• Execute design calculations, encompassing voltage drop analysis, fault current assessments, and system optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract specifications and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and optimizing project outcomes including on-site engineering support.
• Collaborate closely with contractors to review and approve engineering drawing submissions, maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Solar PV system design / engineering.

Key Responsibilities

· Mark up the enquiries to be sent out for quotations and ensure this is done quickly

· Select suitable subcontractors for the works taking into consideration volume of work and location

· Input the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and set up the job ready to price

· Contact the key supply chain contractors to discuss the project and any technical issues

· Carry out bulk measure checks and pick up any scope missing from the BoQ and ensure this is incorporated into the price

· Visit site and carry out a site report summary of access/egress. Locations for site establishment and understand logistically how the project will be run.

· Work with the assigned Project Manager and to ensure the bid document satisfies the minimum criteria as stated in the RFP.

· Review the tender and propose alternatives / value engineering options to be cos

· Oversee the Distribution of any addendum information to the relevant sub-contractors

· Raise tender queries to the consultants where necessary.

· Compile the prelims book with input from the Project Manager on suitable staffing levels

· Analyse the quotations and prepare a summary report of all the quotations received

· Evaluate the Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) obligations and ensure we price the job accordingly

· Complete all relevant Estimating forms in line with the Estimating procedure

· Produce a list of tender clarifications for submission
