The Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to join us in the commercial space, creating practical and pleasing, future focused solutions. The opportunity will focus on driving design direction on client projects, and mentoring more junior designers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Project Delivery and Oversight – deliver projects, from project set up and briefing to on time delivery, managing and mentoring your team through the process
• Design and Insight – generate, present and bring to life viable solutions to exceed the brief, incorporating best practice and lateral thinking for original innovative ideas that challenge the status quo
• Conversion –provide information, support and influence to meet and win over clients
• Teamwork – strong focus on two-way feedback and collaboration to mentor, develop and lead more junior designers
• Compliance – compliance with all applicable Standards and Codes; as well as maintain quality, accuracy and compliance with Geyer Management Systems
• Safety – has a safety mindset, when it comes to design but also day to day actions

Who We Are Looking For

This role will suit someone highly experience in commercial interior design, who can work flexibly and is committed to continual growth and improvement. Must have tertiary qualification in interior design or architecture

• Degree qualified in Interior Design or similar. We look favourably on candidates who are Green Star Accredited Professionals
• 8+ years design/ architecture experience
• 4+ years leadership experience
• Strong design visualisation skills including sketching, hand drawing as well as fluency in Revit and Adobe graphics programs.
• A strong conceptual designer who can produce compelling sketch plans and articulate design narratives.

• Coordinate and carry out tender, evaluation, recommendation and award processes.
• Confidently administer the contract and effectively manage the project team and Consultants for best results.

• Strong design portfolio exhibiting a range of sustainable design project experience.
• Possess creative design thinking and excellent design detailing skills.

Requirements

• Architectural masters/degree recognized by Board of Architects Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of post graduate architectural experience.
• Bim/Revit, Archicad, Autocad, Sketchup, In-Design, as well as basic rendering and graphics publishing software programs.

As the Lead of DevSecOps, you will be accountable for all activities of the Cloud and CI/CD team business and serve as a technology advocate across the organization. This role requires continuous innovation and evolution of our solution offerings and execution strategy while remaining centered on the customer.

To be successful, you must have a deep understanding of Cloud technology and CI/CD practices, especially in the Singapore Government context. You should be a cheerleader for cloud-centric approaches and an energetic partner engager, all aimed at upselling/cross-selling Activate's services/products and deepening customer relationships. You will lead a team of Cloud operation experts to deliver presales targets aligned with various Business Units through proposal development. What will you do?

Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and implement a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevSecOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to define and achieve security and operational objectives.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent to build the next gen DevSecOps team and ensure the staff has the skills and capabilities to meet development needs
• Engage and coordinate with Cloud partners like AWS, Azure, Terraform, and GitLab to increase organizational awareness and resolve technical challenges.

Technical Expertise

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security checks at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Oversee the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Implement and maintain security tools for vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and compliance monitoring.
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards across development and operations teams.

Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate and optimize DevSecOps processes to improve efficiency, security, and quality of deliverables.
• Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of DevSecOps practices and drive improvements.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in the DevSecOps space and evaluate their potential application within the organization.

Collaboration and Communication

• Foster strong relationships with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Engage in high-level discussions with C-suite executives, technical teams, and external partners to drive strategic initiatives.
• Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on the status of DevSecOps initiatives and their impact on the organization.
• Expert-level proficiency in cloud technologies, with particular emphasis on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitLab, AWS Code Pipeline, Azure Pipeline, Bamboo, and GitHub).
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA) and their implementation in cloud environments.
• Essential knowledge of Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) architecture and compliance requirements.
