Job Description

• Responsibilities to the Building Authorities to supervise the works in accordance to the Building Control Act, Regulations and approved plans.

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in large scale civil infrastructure projects. They are seeking for a Project Architect to manage LTA project.

• Leading in resolving construction and technical issues on drawings
• Attend meetings, conduct site inspection on work progress and detect design errors and drawing discrepancies
• Propose solutions to technical problems
• Preparing design brief (timeline, process control, quality control)
• Liaise with internal (senior management / architects team / quantity surveyors) and external stakeholders (client / sub-contractor / authority etc) to ensure the work fulfil the requirement in terms of functionality and operationality.
• Monitor the design development and mitigate any project risks
• Assist in tender quality plan for submission including scheduling, drawing, preparing method statement, innovative ideas, value engineering proposal etc
• Supervising drafting and modelling works
• Obtain technical clearance to client and sub-contractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Possesses at least 10 years of architectural experience including LTA projects
• Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
• Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team

An experienced and detail-oriented Architect Coordinator with minimum of five (5) years of relevant practical experience in building works on building sites in Singapore. This role involves coordinating architectural aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate architectural activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.Manage architectural work scheduling, from shop drawings preparations, materials approval, trials / mock-ups, to actual implementation on site and thereafter handing over.
• Ensure that architectural designs are correctly implemented on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with architectural plans and regulatory requirements.
• Address any discrepancies between the design and actual construction, providing solutions and recommendations as needed.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including architectural drawings, reports, and correspondence.

• Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Building Information Modeling BIM).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Prepare and dispatch authorization letters from relevant authorities, and follow up with clients to obtain signatures and complete required information.
• Monitor, update, and report on the status of ongoing projects.
• Arrange for the purchase of plans from relevant authorities.
• Provide certified copies of approved plans and promptly send approvals to clients.
• Follow up with authorities regarding the status of approvals.
• Answer incoming calls, offering guidance or directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
• Download approvals and update the project team on a daily basis.
• Prepare and submit necessary documents, such as submission forms, via e-Corenet.

Requirements:

• Ability to work proactively, independently, and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in Chinese and familarity with dialects is required for effective communication with clients.
• Knowledge in Architectural Engineering is a plus.
