Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the player experience for mobile games.
• Design UI components, icons, screens, and pop-ups that align with the game’s style and theme.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate UI concepts, ensuring the design is functional and player-friendly.
• Cut and export assets, which includes separating individual elements, maintaining consistent sizing and resolution that aligns with technical requirements.
• Prepare and deliver UI assets and documentation to developers, ensuring accurate implementation.
• Work with game designers and artists to iterate on designs and receive feedback.
• Conduct and analyze player feedback on UI components, making adjustments as necessary to optimize user experience.
• Ensure UI designs are adaptive and responsive across multiple devices and screen sizes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Arts & Media or related fields.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing UI for games.
• Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive UI design and polished visual design skills for games.
• Excellent understanding of composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
• Produce high-quality work consistently to arrive at the best results.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with game engines like Unity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for the project. Provide expert advice on design choices, color schemes, materials, and furniture selection.
• Design Development: Create design concepts and mood boards that reflect the client's style and vision. Develop floor plans, sketches, and 3D models using design software.
• Material & Product Selection: Research and source materials, furnishings, lighting, fixtures, and accessories that align with the design concept. Ensure quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Oversee project progress, ensuring designs are executed as planned, on time, and within budget.
• Space Planning: Maximize the use of space and functionality while adhering to building codes and safety standards. Create layouts that optimize the flow and aesthetic of the space.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, space planning, and architecture.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Certification in Interior Design (NCIDQ or equivalent) is a plus.
