Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop architectural concepts, designs, feasibility studies that meet client requirements and aspirations;

• Coordinate with other design professionals, including engineers and landscape architects, to integrate all aspects of the project design;

• Work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage time efficiently across multiple projects;

• Lead presentations to clients, effectively communicating design vision, and responding to feedback to refine project outcomes;

• Competent in construction details, and able to do design development;

• Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards;

• Able lead and manage a team of architectural personnel;

• Employ advanced design software tools such as Revit, Rhino, Illustrator, and Photoshop, AI software to generate detailed architectural drawings, models, and visual presentations.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Architecture; preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore;

• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices;

• Desired software proficiencies: Applicants are expected to possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with design and graphics software, specifically Revit, Rhino, Illustrator, and Photoshop, among others.

• Flair in design, ability to sketch fast and produce good design concepts;

• Conversant with local codes and regulations.

a) Assist in Drawing drafting for Space planning, Furniture detail drawing, M&E drawing and 3D visualization.

b) Design documentation and material selections and working closely with suppliers to execute the design construction

c) To understand Client’s requirements for design

d) To take on-site measurements and photographs

e) Design Communication and submission to Management/related firm.

f) Material selections and working closely with suppliers/vendors to execute the design construction

g) Ensure all proposals and designs are presented on time.

h) Deliver assigned projects in accordance with customer specifications and Company policies/standards.

i) Ensures that project schedule and budget are adhere to.

j) Collate and evaluate Client’s feedback and highlighting Client’s complaints for Management analysis.

k) Communicate with various level of people spanning from customer, the engineering team, Company Management, Contractors up to vendors.

l) Handle the tasks of drawing and rendering work by using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop/Illustrator for each assigned project.

m) Assisting in tendering new projects such as developing conceptualized interior design, drafting/produce of 3D artist impressions.

n) Perform site visit for projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the project leader and contribute to the projects design evolution
• Coordinate with project leader, consultants, vendors, and specialist agencies (e.g. printers, publishers)
• Proof-read to produce accurate and high-quality graphic work for print, publications and/or online
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of presentations, drawings and illustrations
• Develop graphics/ templates/ brand book for related project marketing collaterals, illustrations, logos, and websites
• Participate in the studio’s related marketing initiatives and events

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant project experiences
• Experience in book publishing an added advantage
• Proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office Suite, and relevant 2D/3D software
• Possess strong verbal and written communication, graphic and organisational skills
• Demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
• Ability to quickly understand, formulate, adapt decisions and present for design reviews
• Ability to take initiative in response to design direction or instruction
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

The role

Now about the role - the designer will provide art direction, illustration and graphic design work across our portfolio of accounts with the following scope of work.

• Providing art direction, graphic design, Illustration and layout of social media content across all formats across ATL/BTL, digital and social formats ranging from static, animation, photography, web development and video productions for our production subsidiary UNMASTERED and our in-house cafe/art gallery Main Street Commissary, amongst other creative properties
• Storyboarding, conceptualising & design of style frames for animation/production content for production
• Ensure output matches the brand intent and messaging as well as the level of quality agency work should entail
• Art direction for all visual communication related work be it internal merchandise projects or photography/production work
• Support the team in matters of conceptualisation and ideation across all forms of social media & creative content
• Regularly present creative campaigns to clients
• Prepare design solutions for internal and external presentations
• Participate in the entire production process to ensure integrity of final product (print, video, or digital production).

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Keen sense of aesthetic design, colour and typography
