1. Produce mold conceptual design & designing mold component.

2. Improve design according to tooling feedback.

3. Prepare 2D mold layout. Issue/update design schedule & status to project engineer and Production planner.

4. Verify 2D layout against mold specification form.

5. Submit 2D layout to project and tooling.

6. Prepare 3D layout.

7. Prepare 2D detail design.

8. Team work with good capability.

9. Self-checking for mold design issue.

10. Ensure all necessary form are updated. (For example: Material list etc.)

11. Request and purchase mould-base , steel material and mold accessories.

12. Familiar with AutoCAD, Unigraphics or ProEngineer software.

• Liaising with any consultants, PE Engineers subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project for necessary submissions;
• Responsible for the production management of the assigned projects, such as to produce drawings, presentation materials, design reports, and other relevant documents which are required as day-to-day design process and deliverables as per contracts of the assigned projects;

Requirements:

• Proficient in computer skills with good working knowledge of 2D & 3D AutoCad
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to details
• Mature and independent with good working attitude
• Working experience in metal/ steel and roofing
• Bachelor's Degree

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop product design concepts according to architect's / facade consultant's contract drawings and specifications.
• Lead and motivate a team of draftspersons to prepare shop drawings, part lists, and manufacturing drawings.
• Plan, implement, and monitor design development and shop-drawing production schedules.
• Ensure product design development costs within budget constraints

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in architecture, design, engineering-related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing construction projects
• In-depth knowledge of current AutoCAD
• Able to interpret drawings and technical manuals and to follow quality/control procedure

Your responsibilities include:

• Drive the end-to-end product design process — from discovering the problems and proposing design solutions to delivering the final design and supporting the product launch.

• Conduct workshops and co-creation sessions with business users and stakeholders, delve into business operations, and identify opportunities where technology can enhance service journeys. Connect the dots between business challenges, user needs, and technological advancements.

• Use qualitative and quantitative research methods including usability testing, A/B testing, user surveys, and in-depth interviews to gather insights that inform design solutions. Use this data to refine and enhance user experience continually.

• Rapidly create and iterate on ideas using user flows and mock-ups. Present design solutions backed by research insights to continually enhance user interactions.

• Able to translate usability test findings into actionable recommendations and simplify complex systems

• Establish design guidelines to ensure consistent design quality across products. Regularly review and update these standards.

• Work closely with the team to maintain and enhance our design system. Oversee all aspects of its usage, including guidelines, updates, and application across products.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional product teams. Foster an environment of collaboration and mutual respect, and encourage a culture of feedback and continuous improvement within the design team and beyond.

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience working collaboratively in agile cross-functional teams and skilled in stakeholder management with excellent organisational, presentation, and listening skills.

• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the UX industry.

• Demonstrated experience working on at least 2 different products creating great usercentric solutions and aesthetic interfaces

• Expertise with popular design tools and software such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite e.g. Photoshop and/or Illustrator, Notion, and Excel.

• Good digital illustration skills will be an added advantage

• Previous experience leading a UX design team and/or experience working in the government sector, with legacy systems or complex domains will be considered an advantage
