• Experience with an iterative design process, and a recognition that the first design is rarely the final design (i.e., MVP mindset).
• Experience with design thinking and human centered design frameworks.
• Ability and willingness to learn Agile ways of working.

Design skills:

• Experience in the full spectrum of UX and UI design activities, which includes UX research, wireframing, high-fidelity UI design, user testing.
• Proficient in collaborative design tools such as Figma, Mural, etc.
• A good understanding of the design implementation as opposed to just delivering a proof of concept (POC) design.
• Experience with responsive design and UI handoff.
• Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Education:

• Background in designing mobile and web applications OR Master’s/Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in graphic design, computer science, design, fine arts, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated UI/UX experience.

• Understand design systems and effectively produce intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Ensure quality of design from concept to finish in UAT, BRT and Production environments.

Skills for Success

• Min Diploma / Degree, preferably in digital media or digital product design, UXUI design
• Min 3-5 years of relevant working experience in digital UXUI design/product design (agency/inhouse)
• Proficient in Figma tool
• Proficient in user interface design (UI), user experience design (UX), and/or concept ideation and prototyping
• Excellent communicator and collaborator
• Keen interest in design and the design community
• Bonus if have experience in agile methodology
