This is a full-time hybrid role for an Art Director at Culture Collective. This role is located in Singapore with hybrid work.

Role

The Art Director (AD) is responsible for helping to derive creative concepts and for directing the visual elements of the creative work product from start to finish – generating unique, engaging, and fresh representations for every creative brief.

Description:

As one of our preschool teachers, you will manage a class in teaching and routine care responsibilities. You will guide the class of children under your care to:

• Plan and implement curriculum and programmes appropriate for the child’s development, including identifying emerging trends to keep innovating. This includes developing initiatives, practices and learning materials to enhance quality of learning environment
• Build collaborative stakeholder relationships and partnerships, amongst centre staff and families we serve.

• L1/L2 Certificate in Early Childhood or Diploma In Early Childhood – Teaching.
• Strong communication skills - spoken and written English

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in preparing and carrying out lesson plans, i.e. setting up materials, and ensuring children stay on task.
• Assist teachers in providing individualizes support to children who need extra help, including one-on-one guidance and small group instruction.
• Assist teachers to help maintain classroom discipline by enforcing rules and implementing behavior management strategies.

The Beginning Infant Educator builds relationships with infants and toddlers and looks out for their developmental needs and milestones so as to be able to respond to their needs appropriately. He/She executes the required curricula and programmes, and creates a quality learning environment. To provide holistic care for infants and toddlers, the Beginning Infant Educator establishes relationships and partnerships with different stakeholders. He/She also engages in professional development and reflective practice, under the guidance of his/her leaders.

The Preschool Educator effectively creates a secure and quality learning environment for the children through nurturing trusting and respectful relationships with them. He/She enriches children’s learning by co-designing and implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curricula, while effectively integrating innovative teaching and learning practices. He/She is proactive and intentional in strengthening partnerships with families and the community, and co-designs collaborative efforts with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve this goal.

As an experienced Early Childhood Educator, He/She guides the junior educators in enhancing their professional practice. He/She provides suggestions and ideas to improve professional development in the Centre, while also contributesing to the Centre’s culture of collaboration and collegiality.

• Be responsible for care, security, and maintenance of resources and equipment in own classroom and throughout the school.
• Be a good role model in respect of speech, dress, behaviour and care of equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimal 3 years of experience in cover/relief teaching in independent school environment for children age 18 months to 13 years old.
• Possesses relevant Teaching Certification recognised in International Teaching Climate (i.e. QTS, PGCE / i-PGCE)
• Highly adept and adaptable individual with pro-active attitude and a passion for teaching children across a wide age range.
