• Passionate to engage and educate young children
• Planning and carrying out lessons (Mandarin) for children aged eighteen (18) months to six (6) years
• Responsible in ordered arrangement, appearance, decor and learning environment of the classroom and Mandarin Corner
• Patient and supportive approach to the learning process
• Enthusiastic and encouraging
• Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in ECCE (Mandarin)
• Registered with ECDA with an L2 qualification in Mandarin
• With SPARK experience an advantage
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)
• Additional fluency in English an advantage
• Relevant experience with a digital Student Management System (qoqolo) an advantage

Responsibilities

• · Support the main classroom teachers in the implementation of daily programs to facilitate learning of children
• · Conduct daily routine care and related duties
• · Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children
• · Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team as required
• · Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids
• · Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development
• · Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom
• · Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents

Requirements

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
• Higher Nitec in Early Childhood/ WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ACECCE)
• Fluent in English
• Additional language fluency an advantage
