Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in routine care including diaper changing and preparation of milk for the children as well as meal times.
• Ensure the children’s safety in the school during lesson time.
• Assist the Form Teachers in preparation of lesson materials.
• Assist the Form Teacher in other administrative duties including attendance taking, daily temperature checks, portioning food out for the children, filling up of their water bottles.
• Conduct simple activities like story telling and/or singing of songs and/or simple art activities with the children.

Requirements:

• Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE) is required.

Description:

1. Prepare daily lessons in line with the Pupil’s IEPs alongside with Allied Health Professional.

2. Monitor Pupil’s progress, achievements, and participation in school activities.

3. Guide and equip Pupils with the pre-requisite / vocational skills needed for future employment opportunities.

4. Collaborate with parents through case conferences, or home visits to facilitate Pupil’s overall growth and development.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least GCE “A” level (incl General Paper); Degree or diploma from a recognized local educational institution.

2. Trained with Diploma in Special Education (DISE) and relevant experiences in teaching special needs students are an advantage.

3. Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skill
