The Swimming Teacher/Coach will work alongside with our external Swim School Coaches and he/she is accountable for the standards of teaching and learning, and students progress in swimming. The Swimming Teacher/Coach is to design an engaging and challenging swimming curriculum that inspires children to achieve their potential, appreciate the subject and its application.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Sports or its equivalent is required.
• Swimming coaching qualifications such as Swim England/UKCC/ASA Level 2 or equivalent.
• First aid and lifesaving qualifications is essential.
• Experience in teaching swimming across diverse international school settings, ranging from Nursery School to Secondary School levels, along with a background in competitive swimming would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Aquatics with a focus on both teaching non-swimmers to competitive age-group swimmers.
• A proven track record of teaching a varity of age groups, raising attainment of students in the development of swimming.
• Experience with Hytek Meet Manager and Team Managers programme is an advantage.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication proficiency.
• A commitment to conducting training during weekends and school holidays when necessary.

Working Requirements

• Sponsoring and/or coaching after school activities are part of the responsibility of the professional educator.
