Job Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced part-time English teachers to teach the Oxford syllabus to working adults, primarily from Malaysia and China. The ideal candidate will be skilled in teaching English from beginner to upper-intermediate levels, with an understanding of the cultural and linguistic backgrounds of the students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver well-structured English lessons aligned with the Oxford syllabus, tailored to adult learners.
• Teach essential language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) to students ranging from beginner to upper-intermediate levels.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the cultural and learning needs of students from Malaysia and China.
• Use real-life examples to enhance learning and make lessons relevant to working adults.
• Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations and constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence in language use.
• Be available for classes during evenings or weekends to accommodate students’ schedules.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification.
• Previous experience teaching English to students from Malaysia and/or China is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to teach part-time, including evenings or weekends.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in teaching English for workplace communication or practical purposes.
• Familiarity with the challenges faced by Chinese and Malaysian students learning English as a second language.
• Proficiency in using classroom & blended learning (hybrid)
