Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Preschool Sports Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for introducing young children to the fundamentals of physical activity and sports skills in a fun, engaging, and safe environment. The Preschool Sports Teacher will work with children ages 2-6 to develop their motor skills, coordination, and a love for movement through age-appropriate games and exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement creative and engaging sports and physical activities suitable for preschool-aged children.
• Introduce basic sports concepts such as balance, coordination, teamwork, and following instructions in a playful and supportive manner.
• Ensure a safe environment for children by maintaining safety protocols and supervising all activities.
• Encourage children’s physical, social, and emotional development through positive reinforcement and age-appropriate activities.
• Foster teamwork, communication, and positive sportsmanship among young children.
• Adapt sports activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all children.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
• Monitor and assess each child’s progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies for sports activities.
• Collaborate with other preschool teachers and staff to integrate physical activity into the broader preschool curriculum.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field (preferred).
• Experience working with young children (ages 2-6), preferably in a preschool or early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate sports activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude toward working with young children.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
