We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Manager, Operations to join our team in Singapore. This role encompasses overseeing operational, administrative, and strategic initiatives critical to the company’s sustained growth and success. Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Oversight

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of company and subsidiary audits.

2. Recruitment and Staff Development

• Lead the recruitment and onboarding process for all incoming team members.

4. Administrative and Communication Management

• Review and approve monthly reports (HR, operations, finance) for submission to senior leadership.
• Prepare and manage meetings, ensuring agendas, minutes, and relevant documents are distributed accurately and promptly.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of internal and external administrative documents requiring leadership approval.
• Maintain effective and consistent communication with stakeholders, including headquarters and subsidiaries.

5. Business Development and Carbon Management

• Oversee trading operations for green and blue methanol, including client introductions and market strategy.
• Manage carbon credit trading activities, including account openings and ongoing credit monitoring.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or a senior managerial role, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in audits, taxation, banking, compliance, and risk management.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience working across regions and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience/Background

• Educational Background: A minimum of GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma in International Trade, Import & Export, or related fields. A bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Professional Experience: At least 6+ years of progressive experience in an Agri-Business/Trading Company, with proven expertise in managing operations for soft commodity trading, bulk shipments, and trade support functions. Experience in a managerial role is essential.
• Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, effectively managing both people and operational resources.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commodity trading, including familiarity with GAFTA, FOSFA, and ICC rules for Letters of Credit. Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices is crucial.
