Job Scope:

• Monitor and oversee daily accounting transactions and activities

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure accounts payable invoices, petty cash and E-staff expenses claims (Prosoft) are processed accurately and timely.

• Ensure GST recognition is in compliance with IRAS regulations.

• To check and ensure payments are properly supported and authorized according to Group Policies and Processes.

• Prepare and update principal supplier’ reconciliation on a monthly basis.

• Handle and resolve internal and external vendors’ inquiries and issues.

• Ensure Zero unallocated payments in ERP system.

• Petty Cash management.

• Other ad-hoc duties as required and/or assigned.

Skill Required

• Diploma or Degree qualification.

• Min. 3 – 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.

• Independent, analytical and a positive working attitude.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Good time management and comfortable working in fast-paced environment with high voluminous transactions to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall testing strategy for new projects and existing applications.
• Design test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
• Oversee the execution of manual and automated testing to ensure that all aspects of the application are thoroughly tested.
• Collaborate with development teams, business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

About the role

You will have the opportunity to help shape, influence and drive the business through business transformation. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of Singapore incorporated clients in corporate tax and multi-skill in at least one functional area such as GST, transfer pricing, private wealth or M&A. • Lead a team of tax professionals and manage a portfolio of Singapore tax clients rendering compliance and advisory services relating to Corporate Tax, Incentives and grants, Personal Tax, Withholding Tax, Certificate of Residency, and other relevant areas of taxation
• Oversee tax returns and detailed tax computations for clients.
• Preparation of advice requested by clients and undertake review of work done by junior team members to ensure consistency with the Singapore Tax rules, regulations, the practice and requirements of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (the 'IRAS').
• Attending to ad-hoc queries raised by IRAS and ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Candidates must have directorship potential
• A recognized degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, Australia or equivalent
• At least 7 years for Senior Manager and 5 years for Manager with experience in Singapore tax
• Singapore Certified Tax Professional (SCTP) professional qualification is an advantage
• Experience in shipping industry assignments is an advantage

Accounting Management

• Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, schedules, and financial reports.
• Handle billing and accounts receivable (AR) management, including client supplier portals.
• Oversee payments, accounts payable (AP), and vendor management.
• Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and other payment platforms.
• Prepare and submit GST reports to IRAS and address adhoc GST-related queries.

• Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of financial and administrative processes.
• Provide robust support in corporate governance matters, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to uphold compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with corporate legal advisors to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including filings, board resolutions, and other corporate secretarial tasks.
