• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Work Schedules: Mondays to Fridays: 0830hrs to 1730hrs or 0900hrs to 1800hrs, Saturdays: 0830 hrs to 1230 hrs or 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs (based on roster)

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist patients with their activities of daily living (ADLs): namely feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and mobility
• Record patient’s vital signs timely and accurately.
• Assist enrolled/registered nurses in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing care requirements.
• Assist in escalating patient’s condition to registered nurse or resident physicians when necessary.
• Comply with infection prevention and control (IPC) of nursing practices.
• Comply with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
• Adhere to Crawfurd Hospital’s practices and SOPs to provide safe patient care.
• Participate in continuous learning practices to upgrade and improve on knowledge and skills.
• Assist 24-hours walk-in clients during treatment and consultation.
• Provide chaperon for female patients when needed.
• Escort client from one department to another within the hospital, if needed.
• Participate in quality improvement projects to improve quality and standards in nursing care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient care and monitor the progress of patients.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintaining and recording patients’ medical records accurately.
• Assist in housekeeping and refer to the housekeeping team to maintain a safe environment.
• Performs other duties assigned by Nurse Manager and/or Immediate Superior.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Completed at least 10 years of school education, both locally or internationally.
• Be able to speak basic English.
• Applicants with a Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or a Professional Certificate in Inpatient Care or Eldercare will have an advantage.
• Prior working experience in Healthcare Institutes such as Acute Hospital, Community Hospital or Nursing Home will be preferred.
• Be able to work on rotating shifts up to 12 hours (average 44 hours per week) that include night shifts, weekends and public holiday.
• Team player with a good attitude and aptitude.
• Those with other relevant clinical experiences may be considered.
