Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a Project Manager assist their Engineering team for the next phrase of their business.

This Project Manager would be responsible for :

• Responsible in managing technical and commercial scope and provide a coherent engineering package to obtain fully approval from customer and end-user on schedule
• Responsible in ensuring selected systems and or equipment in accordance with contract, specification and performance requirements
• Responsible in managing internal team and external vendor to ensure deliver projects on schedule
• Responsible in managing and controling internal labor cost charge to project
• Responsible in understanding technical specification and commercial terms of contract. Manage contracts and customer expectation
• Responsible in project risk management
• Responsible in managing full lifecycle of projects from tender review at final stage to completion of project defects liability period.
• Handling management of contract to manage customer expectation
• Any other adhoc duties required

Requirements

• Minimum degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or relevant studies
• Minimum 5 years related project management experience in water treatment, Petrochemical/ Chemical; Marine or Offshore Industries
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer is a must

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager for Singapore will be responsible for leading EHS program, regulatory compliance, injury prevention, cultural transformation and environmental protection for AAC operations in. Additional responsibilities include process safety management supports and security system management

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic and annual goals, objectives and programs towards injury prevention, regulatory compliance and cultural transformation
• Engage with HQ and Singapore Leadership Team on EHS programs, goals and objectives and provide active advice and support.
• Ensure company compliance with all applicable local/international regulatory requirements
• Engage Site Management Team in EHS matters and continuous improvement projects.
• Lead Incident Management Program, including investigation, performing data analysis to identify trends of incidents and areas to focus on improvement.
• Lead in Major Hazards Installation programs, hazard reviews, and start-up of new construction.
• Provide EHS oversight and support to site managers for major construction projects, including hazard review, operational readiness investigation (ORI), etc.
• Identify and support the development and provision of annual EHS Training for employees.
• Support site EHS in Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Managing sites Security personnel and support site program
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in environmental, health, safety or relevant scientific or engineering field
• At least 7 years’ EHS work experience in the chemical, electronic or pharmaceutical industry. Experience in a Semiconductor plant will be an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in management role with start-up experience
• Strong knowledge of Singapore environmental, occupational safety and health regulations.
• Strong Process Safety knowledge at identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards
• Strong leadership skills and qualities - able to communicate effectively in chinese with our stakeholders in China
• Good communication skills
• Registered Safety Officer
• Registered Fire Safety Manager
• Internal Auditor certification for ISO14001, ISO 14001, SS651 or similar accredited EHS management systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Able to take duct measurements with close of 100% accuracy
• Able to read drawings and know what materials to buy to install the ducting system.
• Able to plan the project and lead/supervise Junior duct installer to work and meet deadlines.
• Able to do normal and Fire rated insulation based on regulation.
• Able to work under pressure and attend site including Sunday & Public Holiday when instructed.
• Able to do Ducting installation (over 5 years experience)

Requirement

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• Min 5 years of relevant working experience as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or Project Manager at consulting firms
• Relevant experience in the planning, design and implementation of M&E services
• Possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, and being innovative and result-oriented
• Willingness to grow and lead the M&E business in a listed company as an entrepreneurial owner of the business in an environment similar to start-up
• Network within the sector to source new projects for the company
• Strong in people management, good writing, communication and presentation skills
