RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Job

As the Clinical Governance Officer and Nursing Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical aspects of our Nursing Home service, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality care. Your leadership and management skills will be crucial in guiding our dedicated care staff, fostering a culture of safety, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and negotiate resources for care delivery.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) supervisor on quality assurance activities.
• Conduct regular audits in collaboration with relevant personnel.
• Implement and review policies for clinical governance, risk management, and quality management.
• Advocate a culture of safety, ensuring incidents are reported for mitigation measures.
• Supervise and guide care staff, escalating issues to the licensee when needed.
• Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all services.
• Improve and maintain effective care delivery and staffing of Residential Living Areas (RLAs).
• Mentor, guide, and discipline staff within the scope of responsibility.
• Constantly update and review policies and core values of the organization and the profession.
• Lead the team in delivering quality service to residents, relatives, and visitors.
• Account for the maintenance of a systematic inventory for control of drugs and assets.
• Ensure care staff's familiarity with emergency protocols.Evaluate and maintain a high standard of care through clinical guidance, teaching, and support.Identify and plan for the training and development needs of staff.
• Orientate all clinical staff and lead by example in performance management.
• Ensure safe storage of confidential files and records, maintaining residents' confidentiality.
• Recruit staff to meet changing needs and maintain effective working relationships.
• Keep records of all equipment and ensure regular servicing.
• Attend regular nursing and department meetings.
• Conduct multidisciplinary meetings for resident care planning.
• Attend education programs to stay updated with the latest knowledge and skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent.
• Possession of a Post-Basic Certificate or Advanced Diploma in a Nursing specialty.
• Ideally, a Master's degree in a health-related subject or equivalent (or actively pursuing one).

Job Requirements

You should either be a medical practitioner fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council or a nurse fully registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.

Medical Practitioner fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council with the following experience/qualification:

1. a) Registered as a specialist in any branch of medicine, OR
2. b) Registered as a family physician, OR
3. c) Had previously been deployed as a medical practitioner for a continuous period of 5 years, or an aggregate period of 5 years during a continuous period of 10 years.

Nurse fully registered with Singapore Nursing Board with the following experience/qualification:

1. a) Must have served an aggregate period of 5 years in a leadership role in the last 10 years as a RN in a NH, Geriatric or Palliative Care setting.
2. b) Shall hold a degree in Nursing; AND either an advanced diploma in nursing; OR post-basic nursing qualifications; OR post-graduate qualifications in clinical nursing.

• Develop and implement sales development strategy considering TVS SCS capabilities, trade lanes and business plan to meet or exceed assigned sales targets
• Identify and jointly develop differentiators with internal stakeholders that will increase our new customer acquisitions and retentions e.g. IV specialisations and solutions etc
• Identify and win new customer opportunities by developing a strong pipeline and executing the opportunity win plan well
• Establish and manage network of customer contacts in order to build relationships and trust between TVS SCS and the customer at various levels
• Drive strategies to establish value-creating partnerships with customers
• Transform discussions of potential opportunities into actionable future plans with customers
• Maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
• Optimise GP and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
• Oversee coordination with relevant departments on meeting customers’ requirements
• Write up SOP for each secured customer and go through SOP with concerned operational parties to ensure that all understand the required processes
• Facilitate in resolving service issues with the customer as appropriate and requested
• Update all sales activities in Salesforce to ensure accurate and timely monthly sales reporting to the Country HOS and country / global management
• Develop and coordinate effective use of marketing collateral, materials and all customer related information with relevant team members in marketing and administration
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the reporting manager and country / global management

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent field is preferred
• 5 to 8 years in sales positions in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry is preferred
• Proven experience in business development and strategic account Management
• Strong market knowledge in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, preferably with specialisations in certain industry verticals
• A sound understanding of leveraging a sales process to uncover customer needs, present appropriate solutions and close business
• Must have experience in working within a multi-national / cultural environment
• Strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and drive profitable revenue from multiple accounts
• Strong leadership qualities and motivation skills
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders

• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates

The successful candidate will join the finance department in Engineering division in SIA.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely payment of Engineering Division account payables, receivables, fixed costs forecasting, budgeting & control
• Passenger and Freighter Aircraft Variable Costs Forecasting and Budgeting, and Capital Expenditure Forecasting, Budgeting & Control
• Asset Accounting (Spares, Capitalised Maintenance costs)
• Perform month end closing, prepare monthly schedules, timely and accurate accrual of expenses for the purpose of monthly reporting.
• Freight Invoice Verification and monitoring and clearance of suspense accounts
• Withholding Tax Reporting and Interested Party Transaction (IPT) Coordinator
• Scribe of Finance Meetings
• System enhancement/ implementation
