The Audio-Visual (AV) Assistant will support the audio-visual and technical operations in church services and events. The staff will work closely with the Audio-Visual Executive to equip the volunteer team to support the church events and programmes, as well as maintain the relevant AV equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for providing services pertaining to sound engineering and maintenance at the Local Church.

2. Oversee the audio mix during Saturday worship rehearsals, Sunday services, and as needed, for special services/events.

3. Train and guide TECH ministry members during rehearsals, so that members will be able to conduct their sound engineering duties during worship services effectively.

4. Arrange and conduct training for TECH ministry’s newly recruited members, to equip them with the basic skills and competencies.

5. Look into the regular maintenance and troubleshooting of problems related to the audio system, to ensure that the system continues to meet the needs and requirements of the church.

6. Join the TECH ministry’s committee meetings, to plan possible system upgrades, suggest areas of improvement, organise trainings and retreats.

7. Perform post-production sound edits for recordings (video and audio).

Quality Assurance: Oversee QA/QC activities to ensure successful and timely project delivery, aligning precisely with client expectations.

Documentation Guru: Prepare a variety of project documentation, including Minutes of Meeting, Requirement Specifications, Design Specifications (or Understanding Documents), Training and User Manuals, Release Notes, and Project Status Reports.

Versatile Contributor: Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Business.
• Experience: 1-2 years' experience in the IT industry is preferred.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Tech-Adept: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Job Description
