The key responsibilities of the Assistant Housekeeper are to assist the Head of Home and the Premises Manager in managing the needs of the Home. It includes duties such as:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Secure new clients and develop new revenue streams through business development (50%) and account management (50%).
• Meet volume and revenue targets by fostering strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Manage cross-trade operations and support international agents on shipment arrangements.
• Deliver optimal logistics solutions to clients, ensuring KPIs and initiatives are met for customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations, RFQs, and tenders, and manage rate reviews.
• Draft SOPs, operational T&Cs, and secure approvals before submission.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders.
• Exceed sales targets and generate consistent revenue and gross profit.
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer visits, sales progress, and market developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service and Operations) to execute customer quotations effectively.
• Provide weekly sales reports and pipeline updates to management.
• Report directly to the Managing Director and Sales Manager on market trends and performance.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or 3PL.
• Proven track record in business development or key account management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for sales presentations.
