Your Career

This Alliances Business Manager role will develop the full 360 degree Telco Service Provider (SP) partner led growth from leveraging partner teams and reach, especially for Managed Services. Reporting to the JAPAC Strategic Alliances Director, you will center your role on developing and growing partner led opportunities with SP partners who actively drive revenue for their business in Managed Security Services.

You will build the Go-to-Market (GTM) Plan for SP across the JAPAC Theatre as follows:

* Identify Focus Area Telco Service Providers (among the 6 geographic Areas of JAPAC Theatre)

• Executive & Business Unit Structures

• Unique Differentiator/s for each SP

• Solution Offerings to Embed PANW

* Execute & Enhance the GTM Plan

• Execute Joint Planning with Focus Partners

• Oversee Joint Solution Development

• Clarify or Develop the Market Messaging & Positioning

• Encourage Joint Sales, Presales, Channel Teams and Delivery Enablement

• Collaborate with Marketing for Demand Generation Campaigns

You will be responsible for educating and engaging the sales account teams within partners and at PANW on the benefits of tri-party collaboration. We win by deliberate joint account engagement to solve our joint customers biggest challenges of securing their digital way of life. Success in the role will also require developing a strong internal network across PANW teams, including Sales, Marketing, Area Channel Business Managers, Sales Engineers and most importantly our speedboat solutions specialists.

Your Impact

• Grow SP partner-led transactions - New Customer Acquisitions

• Embed PANW solutions into SP partners service offerings

• Business development with partners involvement to help activate them on PANW offerings

• Build a strong business network within the Area channels organizations - It is your responsibility to continue to nurture and grow your network

• Engaging with key stakeholders (PANW Area and Channel leadership, Channel Business Managers, Distributor Business Managers) to build and execute on a your SP channel plan

• As part of the overall JAPAC theater plan, activate Focus SP partners, then identify and recruit emerging SP partners who prioritise Cybersecurity in their Network or SOC go-to-market strategy

• Develop and execute business plans driving all aspects of the partner relationship to maximize growth opportunities and ensuring partner is well-positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and recommendations

• Work well in a team environment to ensure partner and customer satisfaction

• Design compelling value proposition that inspire partners to promote our solutions 

• Work with select partners and help them build a services catalog around our cloud security offerings

• Provide clear and consistent communication across the region with your dedicated partners to build strong partnerships throughout your assignment

• Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various stakeholders 

• Build and maintain activity of performance reports and activity dashboards

Position Overview:

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization. This role acts as a key liaison between the HR department and various business units, collaborating closely with leadership and staff to support and drive the achievement of organizational goals. The HRBP provides proactive HR consultation, strategic guidance, and expertise to business leaders, while also ensuring the effective implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Planning & Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand business objectives and challenges, translating them into HR strategies and action plans.
  
• Develop and implement HR initiatives that support the organization's long-term vision, growth, and manpower planning.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and manpower needs.
• Develop a strong working relationship with department heads and key stakeholders to provide proactive HR support and solutions.

2. Employee Relations:

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage staff relations issues, conduct investigations, and mediate conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.

3. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

• Partner with business leaders to identify and hire top talent that aligns with the business needs and culture.
• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new staff have a smooth integration into the company.

4. Performance and Talent Management:

• Advise managers on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Support the identification of high-potential staff and assist in creating succession plans.

5. Learning and Development:

• Collaborate with relevant HR team members and/or business leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs within the business units.
• Assist in the design and implementation of employee development programs.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

• Work with relevant HR team members to ensure competitive and fair compensation and benefits structures that attract and retain talent.
• Provide insights and recommendations on salary adjustments, promotions, and bonuses.

7. HR Metrics and Reporting:

• Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and insights that inform decision-making.
• Prepare regular reports for management on key HR metrics and their impact on the business.

8. HR Policy and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across the business units.
• Advise management on potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Bachelor's degree. Master's degree or HR certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, ideally in a fast-paced corporate environment in the IT industry.
• To succeed, minimum 5-7 years of HR business partnering, or 7-10 years combined HR business partnering, HR generalist and HR specialist experience are likely required.
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and broadly and translate business objectives into HR solutions.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive HR decisions.
• A proactive approach with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organization.
