The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), together with the Earth Observatory of Singapore, is looking for a Research Assistant to make an important contribution to the research project: “Climate Transformation Program (CTP): Cross Cutting Theme 1 – Sustainable Societies” funded by the MOE Tier 3C Grant. Job Description:

Responsible for the full operational and financial management of food courts and coffee shops in a designated region.

Key responsibilities included:

• Financial Performance: Managing budgets, P&L, sales reporting, cost control, rent collection, debt recovery, and financial analysis.
• Tenant Management: Sourcing, onboarding, lease negotiations, performance evaluation, pricing oversight, issue resolution, and contract enforcement.
• Operational Management: Setting operational guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulations (NEA, SFA, Civil Defense), maintaining service quality and hygiene standards, coordinating with landlords on building issues and promotions, managing M&E works, and overseeing daily operations.
