JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is to manage the commercial operations of the company’s business in the Southeast Asia/Oceania territory through direct sales and the agent’s and distributor’s sales force as well as to implement the strategy of the company.

Based in Southeast Asia, the Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the General Manager based in Singapore and the Customer Service team. Qualification

• Technical degree i.e., Chemical Engineering or Pharmacy. Candidate with an MBA or PhD in the related fields would be an added advantage.

• Minimum 8 years of commercial and technical experience in the cosmetics and/or pharmaceutical industries

• Strong command of the English language; knowledge of one or more regional language is a plus, preferably Korean.

Qualities We Value

• Degree in Engineering or Business
• More than 5 years’ experience in Sales and leading a team
• Prior experience in Government sector will be an added advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Aptitude in articulating business proposals and plans to key stakeholders

Job Description:

a. Handle full set of accounts AR, AP, GST F5 submission and tax computation/filing for a group of companies

b. Perform monthly closing and bank reconciliation

c. Manage debtors’ control to ensure timely collection of trade receivables

d. Prepare monthly closing reports, schedules and variance analysis as well as yearly financial statements

e. Liaise with Sales department with regards to invoicing and collection matters

f. Review payments to suppliers (local and overseas)

g. Ensure compliance or financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations

h. Monitor working capital and support the business unit in budgeting and planning

i. Responsible for quarterly stock take and half-yearly fixed asset sighting

j. Assist in foreign workers work pass application, cancellation and renewal

k. Liaise with auditor for yearly statutory audit and periodic internal audit

l. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
