Who We Are Looking For & What Role You Will Play

• Seeking a dynamic and driven team player with strong work ethics including attention to detail.
• Oversee the sub divisions within the Finance Department (AR, AP & Cash processing) for timely billing
  and closing of financial transactions for month end closing
• Check that transactions process are in line with current internal control while looking into process
  improvement with managers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, i.e. GST, tax
• To embark on work improvement initiatives continuously together with other teams
• To assist with audit queries and matters where applicable
• Any other tasks assigned by management

What Knowledge & Experience We Require From You

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with ACCPAC and SAP would be an advantage
• Strong work ethics including attention to detail and resourcefulness with positive work attitude
• A proactive person with the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines
• Effective team management skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee monthly payroll processing inclusive of bank creation and payslip generation
• Handle full recruitment cycle from advertising, shortlisting potential candidates and assisting in arranging interviews and preparing relevant documentations for selected candidates
• Responsible for all Work Pass transaction such as application, renewals and cancellation
• In-charge of on-boarding and off-boarding processes
• Responsible for dormitory check in/out, room arrangement, liaising with dorm operator
• Submission of monthly CPF contributions, IR21 (if any)
• Preparation and submission of statutory, WICA and other relevant HR reports
• Create and upkeep employees’ P-files
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist in preparing reports as required.
• Submission of MOM quarterly surveys
• Submission of MOM monthly salary declarations
• Submission of MOM monthly OED
• Employee training registration and renewal (Coretrade Application/Renewal, WSH Application/Renewal, SP Contractor Portal Application/Renewal, etcs)
• Manage daily HR operations, such as record maintenance and filing.
• Ensure timely renewal of company vehicle insurance and road tax
• Support in general office administration to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Technical Requirements:

• Preferably 2-3 years of relevant HR experience
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or equivalent
• Preferably 2-3 years of relevant HR experience
• Good understanding of HR processes and administrative duties.
• Experience in Construction will be an added advantage

Others:

• 5 days’ work
• 9am – 5pm
• 6-month contract role starting from Feb 2025.

Assist the HR manager to oversee HR Department & manage the full spectrum of HR Functions and adminstration.

• Provide HR support to the Manager on recruitment, performance review, employee relations, compensation & benefits.
• Conduct orientation to new employees.
• General HR administrations, such as preparation of appointment letters, confirmation letters, memo and etc.
• Coordinate with Operations Department to evaluate on the next course of action after being notified of any disciplinary case.
• Conduct exit interview. (For foreign resignees)
• Liaise with relevant ministries and agencies to process Work Permit, S Pass, Employment Pass for Malaysians (TS), Non-Traditional Sources (NTS), People Republic of China (PRC).
• Implementation of HR policies and recommend appropriate practices to ensure consistency and long term substainability of HR policies.
• Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by immediate supervisor or higher management.
• Involved in recruiting process, in connecting workers, negotiations, explainations of contracts.
• To apply, renewal work permits, arranging medical checkups, purchase of security bonds, air tickets for repartiation and home leave employees.
• To apply and ensure MWOC is secured for employees.
• Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
• Demostrate leadership abilities.
• To assist other departments managers when necessary to gain exposure in other areas.
• Undertake any ad-hoc projects assisgned by superior/management team from time to time
• To arrange for Medical/WICA insurance yearly renewal and process any claims pertaining to workers medical/wica case.
