You will play a role in championing the workforce transformation and reskilling needs of enterprises in the Professional Services sector. We are seeking a candidate with strong business development or enterprise solutions experience, especially in engaging companies to identify how Workforce Singapore’s initiatives can support their business transformation and manpower needs.

Enable industry and enterprise capabilities through strategic manpower planning

• Identify and assess key industry, manpower challenges and skills through data analysis and trend evaluation
• Engage strategic accounts and companies to ascertain company’s manpower related and reskilling pain points and work with companies to implement strategies for workforce transformation
• Recommend strategic human capital solutions aligning with industry or enterprises’ business and manpower needs
• Support the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) and Jobs Transformation Map (JTM) to articulate key insights and trends, particularly the Jobs and Skills pillar

Forge impactful partnerships and collaborations through stakeholder engagement

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with public agencies, strategic partners and stakeholders
• Collaborate with industry stakeholders, trade associations, tripartite partners and programme partners to develop and implement relevant manpower interventions to address industry manpower issues
• Consult with employers to promote adoption of WSG programmes and progressive human resource practices to address their manpower needs

Manage and review programmes to achieve positive outcomes

• Guide and work with appointed programme partners to ensure compliance with policies and processes
• Organise or support outreach and marketing events such as career events and industry engagements
• Track programmes’ progress and analyse industry related information to evaluate and make recommendations for management decision making

Knowledge/Skills

• At least two years of working experience is preferred, although fresh university graduates who possess maturity, strong communication and interpersonal skills will be considered
• Awareness of various government initiatives related to manpower and training would be advantageous including experience in handling business needs analysis and transformation projects
• Strong engagement skills with experience in account/ project management and/or consultancy role
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Good persuasive and negotiation skills
• Strong data analytics skills would be advantageous
• Able to synthesise information and data for decision making and outcome monitoring

• Basic $5500 - $7000 + $1000 Transport Allowance + Commission
• Mon to Fri: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Acquire new business and expand the customer base to drive growth.
• Lead engagement, development, and retention of assigned customers, maintaining positive relationships.
• Prepare and deliver competitive quotations and proposals to meet revenue, volume, and gross profit targets.
• Execute business development strategies and support sales planning and tactics with management.
• Collaborate with product teams (Air, Ocean, etc.) to secure optimal rates for customer proposals.
• Analyze and optimize customer performance, implementing actions to drive growth locally and, if required, regionally or globally.
• Foster effective collaboration and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Tech, Product, CS, Ops) to support sales initiatives and process improvements.

Job Requirements:

• 5 - 8 years relevant working experience in Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry.
• Min. Degree in Marketing, Sales or equivalent.
• Proven experience in business development and strategic account Management.
