This is an research administrative and operational position within the Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS). The incumbent will be part of the team to support the core functions of the centre. Working under the direction of the Director and Head of Operations at the ACHS, the Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the team to support the core duties of the centre:

a) Research and Centre Administration

• Oversee the training and development needs of employees to enhance overall skills and career development with the aim of attaining business objectives.
• Source, recommend programs and identify training needs analysis using the competency model.
• Act as an internal consultant to build and facilitate the implementation of learning and development solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree holder preferably in HR Management.
• Minimum 5 years in managerial capacity and preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations, HR best practices, C&B analysis and training related function.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Meticulous, flexible, open-minded and possesses positive attitude.
• Hands-on and be able to engage the teams.
• Knowledge and experience in handling Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements is an advantage.s

Finance

• Manage full set of accounts, AP/AR, P/L Statement and B/S for company and subsidiary
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
• Quarterly GST reporting to IRAS
• Handle intercompany reconciliation of transactions and loan balances
• Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes
• Optimise cash flows, process payroll & employee claims, perform vendor payments.
