ROLES:
· Initiating and Oversee Projects
· Primarily entails handling a specific project/projects.
· Expected to handle different functions right from strategic planning, and organizing, to looking into minute details of the project.
· Planning and allotting process for effective completion of the project within the stipulated deadline.
· Weekly update meetings with upper management to pass along information and appraise project progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Foresee Project Developments, to made changes in certain improvements and adjustments if the project is heading on track or not to the original plan.
· To maintain a cordial relationship with clients in explaining the job expectations and deadlines well so that there are no losses incurred due to miscommunication and also to work in coordination with other teams to achieve set goals.
· Multitask, all the projects under his/her supervision are simultaneously progressing smoothly towards completion. Moreover, he/she should ensure no project is being neglected because of another.
· He/she has to interact frequently with his superior to see if the project is within budget limits. If it is not, he/she must take remedial action immediately and ensure the project remains within cost boundaries.
· Regular follow-up on site meetings, researching market information and compiled into a report and submitted weekly report to the project manager in charge.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· A three-year Bachelor's degree in civil/mechanical/electronic engineering. A postgraduate degree in construction management is an added advantage.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in projects
· Excellent communication skills.
· Good understanding of MEP building systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
· Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
