With its HQ in Singapore, Xnergy is expanding its physical offices beyond its current Suzhou subsidiary branch, into new markets of Korea, US/LATAM, EU & Japan over the next 3 years.
The ideal HRBP Manager candidate will be entrepreneurial in mindset, strong execution ability with proven impactful achievements. Coupled with a good understanding of regional HR policies and procedures and proven cross-border recruitment ability, candidate needs to be passionate about what they do, keen to learn, pivot and grow with the company. This role is based in Singapore and responsible for global markets (outside China) all spectrums of human resources practises and processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, maintain HR policies and procedures and general administrative duties. You are to function as the beacon for corporate values and shaping of a positive work culture.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Recruitment
· Perform full range of recruitment and placement activities. Including direct sourcing, interviews, shortlisting, reference checks, verifications, salary negotiations, offer, onboarding, probationary reviews and management of external recruiters and online job portals.
· Benchmarking and maintaining a database of market’s competitive C&B practices.
· Maintain good relationship with local higher institutions to attract talents and intern students. Participate in the career fairs organised by local IHLs.
Talent Management
· Design employee performance evaluation and merit programs with leadership.
· Co- lead annual employee performance reviews with hiring managers.
· Work closely with leaders and department heads for talent development, retention, performance and exit management.
· Bridging leadership and employee relations by addressing performance and behavioural expectations and issues.
· Be a flag bearer to Xnergy’s culture.
Other HR and Admin Management
· Function as an important partner to C suite leadership.
· Co-work with and support regional HR in China as One HR.
· Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements e.g. CPF, IRAS, MOM, NS, Childcare Leave and other government-related claims.
· Administering work pass application/ issuance/ renewal/ cancellation etc.
· Responsible to update and maintain HR database.
· Actively identify the gaps in the organization’s HR process and system (e.g., leave application system) and propose methods or procedures to improve them.
· Work closely with other stakeholders for ESG and other grants from application to claim submission. Keep track of the progress of grant application, project schedule, work-in-progress, and claims submission.
· Key contact person with office building management to address issues on power supply, air-con, shared facility and etc.
· General admin work, office purchasing and other ad-hoc duties when required.
Education and Experience
1. Degree or accredited professional qualifications in Human Resources or related field with at least 5 years of HRBP with prior or current talent acquisitions experiences
2. Strong entrepreneurial spirit with lateral thinking and excellence in executions in multifaceted environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices in accordance with TAFEP guidelines.
4. Handle confidential matters with discretion.
5. Creative in navigating dynamic landscape. Open minded. Team-playing with the ability to connect well with people. Able to multi-task, independent and dependable.
6. Must be willing to work in start-up environment.
