Our client, a leading Japanese gas and energy company, with a trading arm in machinery for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, has started looking for a Sales Assistant Manager who will be engaged in hunting sales activities.

Job Responsibilities:

➤Engage in business development and hunting sales activities and find and get new clients.
➤Strive to find materials and products to sell to clients.
➤Visit customers to establish good relationships and eventually achieve sales results.
➤Develop key customers and acquire market information, investment plans and business need of each client.
➤Source and procure suitable products from manufacturers that align with the needs of the clients.
➤Identify opportunities and create sales strategies to maximize revenue and profit.
➤Provide reports to management.
➤Conduct business trips to Malaysia to expand their business
➤Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

➤Experienced in trading business.
➤Experienced in handling raw materials.
➤Experience of working for a Japanese trading company.
➤Person who can work independently
➤Patient, self-motivated, and challenging person are preferred
➤Person who can work for the company as long as possible
➤Experience working in the mineral industry is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generating new business leads through market research, cold calling, building customer relationships, and participation in industry-related events.

Job Description

• Involve in negotiations, evaluating quotations/tender submissions, and preparing Purchase Requisition & PO.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary F&B. inventories and supplies needed to meet the day to day operation.
• Review stock inventory to ensure sufficient stock level is maintained.
• Co-ordinate with internal departments/vendors/logistic to track deliveries and verify on quantity & quality of received items.
• Work closing with the kitchen and /or other internal customers on their requisition and supplies need.

Job Requirements
