Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related
field.
- Min 2-3 years of experience in M&E coordination, preferably in interior fit-out/ construction.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
- Familiar with construction drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
- Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Construction Sites is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site during project hours.
- Occasional requirement to work weekends or outside regular office hours to meet project
deadlines.
Jobs Scope:
- Coordinate and oversee all M&E works to ensure timely completion, compliance with project specifications, and alignment with the project timeline.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.), ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure M&E work meets safety and quality standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all M&E-related matters between clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Liaise with consultants and other trades to resolve any issues or challenges during the project.
- Manage M&E-related project documentation, including progress reports, submittals, and quality checklists.
- Attend daily site coordination meetings and provide detailed coordination with subcontractors.
- Check, evaluate, and confirm work done and material supply quantities for M&E subcontractor/NSC vendor progress payments, including preparation of substantiation documents.
- Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications to monitor progress, ensure quality standards of workmanship, and maintain compliance with project requirements and the construction schedule.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating tenders and selecting subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor M&E costs to ensure the project stays within budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to during M&E work and conduct regular safety audits.
- Provide post-project support, including defect rectification and addressing operational issues after handover.
- Handle project supervision and documentation.
