Senior Product Manager
Booksmart Distribution Pte Ltd is a leading, fully integrated book distributor, transforming the way books are manufactured, purchased, and delivered across Asia. We provide seamless, efficient solutions to higher education institutions, academic libraries, and educational organizations, ensuring they have access to the most relevant educational content. In addition to serving institutional clients, we also sell directly to consumers across Southeast Asia, bringing books to individual readers throughout the region.
As we scale our operations, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategic development of our digital products and platform, with a focus on enhancing our customer portal, building a robust data analytics platform, streamlining operations, and supporting international expansion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Execute and refine the product strategy for Booksmart’s platform, aligning product development with company growth objectives
- Enhance the customer portal and other digital products by gathering user feedback and prioritizing features that improve the customer experience, operational efficiency, and engagement
- Build a comprehensive data analytics platform that provides valuable insights into customer behaviour, sales trends, and operational performance, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Streamline and automate operations by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation, ensuring scalability as the company grows and expands into new markets
- Support international expansion by adapting the platform to new regional requirements, identifying localization needs, and driving product development that aligns with diverse market conditions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to define product requirements and ensure alignment with broader business goals
- Work alongside leadership and key stakeholders to prioritize product features and enhancements that support both current and future business needs, balancing technical feasibility with user demands
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in product management, particularly in building data analytics platforms, enhancing digital products, and driving operational automation
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure successful implementation
- Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance business goals, user needs, and technical constraints
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends, particularly in the book distribution or related industries
- A track record of delivering scalable and user-centric digital solutions
- Knowledge of the publishing industry is advantageous
